kathy, it does look deliberate, no?  I really think he is trying to make a point here: as if he wants to poke fun at all the glamour stuff the tabloids and the media eat up. After all, why is it that they concentrate more of fashions and the like when this is after all a FILM Festival?

I think you're right about his wild sense of humour -he knows exactly what he's doing when he goes out dressed like that (although I do wonder why he wants to dress like that!!  ;D)

The funny thing is that the media and the gossip columns didn't seem to get it at all.  Pretty stupid of them.  ;)
