And, once again, frances has reduced me to a gibbering wreck with a photo ;D

But seriously, thank you - I've just finished watching the movie again and I came to this bit of the board looking to be cheered up....and it worked :D

Yes, I have thought of appending a poem to this pic for some time in the pix and poems thread.  One has to find the right verses...  :)

I really love this one

I think it's the only one of those pics where he looks like Ennis (I know that sounds weird btw) - he looks ready to come out with a "huh" or a "what" there ;D

True, not weird, NoReins

I prefer the one with the tongue, though

Thanks again, Tombul

You prefer the one with the tongue, Frances?

I am saying nothing.    ;)

Me, I prefer the last one.  A nice little smirk, me thinks.  Wonder what he's thinking?   ;)

Young Ennis or "old" Ennis...that's the question!

Can I join in the debate?   ???

It's young Ennis for me, every time.  Just check my avatar.....kind of gives the game away really!

I know it's hot here in the UK today, but.....I don't think the way I feel right now has anything to do with the weather.

My avatar suggests I would be in the "young Ennis" camp too - but hell, there's not much wrong with "old Ennis" either. And anyway, he was only 39....that's not that old (sadly, I'm a lot closer in age to that than I am to 19 ::))
