This is a mural by George Vander Sluis...in Riverton, of all places! 1942, before Ennis and Jack were even born...Jack's weraing that coat and everything! How freaky is that!

Imagine...that's how their sweet life could have been :-\\ This is totally Jack and Ennis! <^(

it's even more freaking when you know that it's in the POST OFFICE in riverton...

we were there last year and took loads of pics while posting our cards....  <^(

   Here is some more information on the painter of the Riverton mural which I found on another board:

"I have done a bit of research on the artist, George Vander Sluis, who died about 1984, he taught at Syracuse University and had an interesting life it looks like, apparently unmarried, he painted a lot of barns in New England. The mural was part of a WPA project that began in the depression. What is so errie for me is this would have been created about the time the characters were born, and those hats...."

It is eerie...it's the Brokeback effect ;D
