Subsiding madness..or something else... "s;"

I just wanted to share this with you, dear Brokies...doesn't happen every day.. #s}

By a mere chance I was representing my employer in a legal cadastral survey (parcelling out land). The new parcel/estate is to be named by me, a real alphabetical name in addition to the register unit identifier. First I thought that "oh..please.." but then it hit me, of course: a proper translation of "Brokeback Mountain". There's actually no mountain on this parcel, just some small hills, but who cares. The name is 'just' a name..any 'decent' name will do. The name will be documented permanently (as legislation of now) though this parcel is to be parcelled out in its entirety.

So, rdx, what will it be called? What is "a proper translation of Brokeback Mountain"? And can you tell us where we might find it?

Thank you Brokies!

It's official now:

                     Rikkoselänvuori

[Rikkoselanvuori, the a with dots]

It's a 'literal' translation, slightly poetic; the compound word structure & genitive is very common in my language.

Translating it back to English: Brokeback'smountain, Rikkoselänvuori. It's also, in a way, sort of a spoonerism of my name..with style  :*(. [Please, do not be offended by that link: it's just humour  ;)]

Lovely idea ¡ Thanks,Rdx ¡  :clap: :clap: :clap:    #s}
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

The governmental department finally got the parcel registered; a dummy aerial photograph (+ the boundaries) is to be found here.

Not a mountain at sight... :-X

The two mountains are Mt Lougheed on the left and Windtower on the right. I have climbed the latter. These are located just east of the town of Canmore Alberta.

Is it really in Alberta? I fell in love with that beautiful scenery from the moment I saw the Pink Floyd "Learning to Fly" music video. I don't know if anyone here recognizes it, but it had a gorgeous young Native American man standing in a golden wheat field then the camera shows scenes of pine trees and a mountain range. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and imprints on your soul forever. I had no idea that some of the Brokeback Mountain scenery was near the same place!
