I can't understand a word they are saying in slo-mo so I haven't heard it.

I just noticed that Jack gives out two little sighs/moans when they are laying down & he reaches back and grabs Ennis' hand. He moans/sighs twice after he has placed Ennis' hand where he wants it (trying to be clean here!).

Twisted, the second slo-mo video was great too but kind of dark. I could not see anything, but I heard " that's it "I think. I'm still researching though for more good stuff.

I couldn't see anything either, but I figured this was for "hearing" purposes only & I could put what I heard to use on a lighter one. Does that make sense? Doesn't really sound like it does. In any case, the slo mo was great!

Yes, sometimes just listening is better than seeing! This definitly served it's purpose. Just the audio voyeour in me I guess.

I still can't hear that. Off to watch/listen once again. (This is really just my excuse to watch/listen to the scene over & over

I can't hear it either. I heard a lot of heavy breathing and maybe one of them could be that phrase, but ultimately, I didn't hear it.

I only heard, "wow" in the slow mo. It's a long - "wowwww", but it's there. Definitely more research is needed.

^^I was only able to hear stuff when I listened on regular speed. Jack's first "f*ck me," as he undoes his belt, is clear as a bell (to me, anyway).

I have viewed the film while utilising my closed caption device and the words...well... Shag-me ,never appear.The closed caption device is a great tool in aiding to the understand what the hell Ennis is actually saying.Believe me,the device has never gone shy on me before.

CC isn't always reliable. There are several things in the movie that were either A) Said and not picked up by CC or B) Picked up but not even displayed correctly. It's useful, yes, but not always reliable. I wouldn't base my opinion on what is said solely from the CC.

^^ITA, carbyville. There are quite a few whispered/mumbled/probably improvised things said in BBM that the CC would not pick up. I know from watching movies and TV with my father-in-law, who often uses the CC, it isn't 100% reliable.

IMO, anything improvised would not be on CC. So in the case of Jack saying "F*ck me," it wouldn't be there because this would more likely than not been an improvisation by Jake. I am not 100% clear on how CC works but I would imagine whoever does them has the script to go off of and only that. Doubt that there are any notations stating what was improvised and what was even said.

Know a person who uses CC, and have watched live, unscripted programs with them. While the CC did not use every single word that was said, the gist of what was said was there. IMO, f..k me was not in the film.

No arguments, whatsoever. I didn't hear it for awhile. It took me using different headphones to hear it and boy was I shocked because I was absolutely convinced it wasn't there. I wasn't even listening for it when I heard it.

ok...i just went and listened to it thru my headphones...thinking ok...maybe he does say it.....it's just not there...if you guys say you heard it then you must be watching a different version then the one I have.

I used two different sets of headphones. The headphones I use regularly I never heard it and still do not hear it, but when I use my Apple headphones that came with my iPod I hear it clear as a bell every time.

I just play the DVD! Though I have to admit that I often play it at night ( eg like now) when it's very quiet, because you can hear better then.

The printed script I have in the Story to Screenplay thing isn't accurate if you compare it with what's said in various places - most of the differnces aren't significant but they're there - from actors saying lines slightly differently from the way they were given them, I guess, and the printed version being done with no reference to the movie soundtrack.

Jake is also notorious for wanting lines changed/changing them if he thinks they don;t work as writen, so it figures that he may have altered/inserted some here.

That's similar to my situation. With my regular headphones, I only heard grunting and groaning, but when I used a better pair, it was very clear. Maybe all of us who do hear it are all part of a big aural hallucination? Just kidding!
