DVD on 20 inch High Definition computer!! WOW
« on: Jul 04, 2006, 06:18 PM »
Talk about a BBM experience.  Although probably I am one of the last people to experience this so forgive my excitement as I am not HIGH TECH by nature.

I got a 20 inch HD computer flat screen monitor and a new computer too.   I put in BBM yesterday and the color and the sound was unbelievable.  I swear I could hear Jake breathe in the tent scenes.  The color of the mountain scenery was really detailed and their faces were so detailed I could have played connect the dots on Jake's moles.

We have a HD tv but it does not compare to this computer.  Now I need a better desk chair to watch DVD's.

Has anyone else tried this film on their computers?   Now Rick wants a flat screen plasma tv.  He watched his favorite movie Last of the Mohicans on this computer and he is wanting to find a tv that equals this.  I will never get him out of the house if we do except to go to horse shows etc.

I've played the DVD on the computer from the start - the new DVD player/recorder/video player/recorder is very hitec but we can't figure out how to connect it up!

However, the compueter screen ( mine's a flat one with some graphics card that's supposed to be good, is very much easier to watch than the TV screeen, specially if you want to peer at the screen from about five inches away at some moments - now who would do that?

Most of the time i watch them on my computer. The sound is the best thing. You hear every breath, the rustle of trees, the water in the stream all seem so much clearer then on the television.Plus,i like to use the headphones which i have done from day one. It's a revelation ;)

If I named my computer after the British Prime Minister, it would no doubt take to smirking at me with four hundred teeth, lie its socks of at all times and declare war on Microsoft.
