Re: "I love his face"
You're not alone Twisted!
I'd do it again every summer for the rest of my life!
For a moment in our lives. Forever in our hearts.

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

There is too much poetry in his face.

I am struck dumb.

OMG, these pix just kill me! On the one hand, he looks so hot, it's probably my favourite look of his in BBM, with the stubble and the bruise, but on the other hand, the pain in his eyes, especially the second from last one, makes me feel like crying :\'( Even if I'd never seen the film, and didn't know what the scene was about, I think it would still break my heart looking at these pix :\'( :\'(
There was some open space between what he knew and what he tried to believe, but nothing could be done about it, and if you can't fix it you've got to stand it.

I love these pix very much.  There is something intimate about these pix that makes you shy away.   It is as if one is intruding.   He is whispering here.  One almost hates to listen in...

Love especially the look in the second of the above pics.  The first one is more subtle but just as beautiful.

he has  a boyish smile that I love very much, but there is more - IMO he can become the male megastar of the next decade he is what Thomas Mann called a "Kostümkopf" in his novel "Felix Krull" i.e. a guy who looks perfect in every role/ style who can hide completely behind a part, a guy with a winnig smile you have to forgive whatever he delivers  :*(

I begin to get dizzy with all this beauty.  In every single one, the face shines with a strange light.  Beauty, sadness, tenderness: all are mingled with so much delicacy, so much subtlety, so much heart.

Jeez, Twisted, those screencaps are just awesome. Do you have every single shot from the whole movie? You really are spoiling us - but please don't stop!

I love these two in particular - the first because his face is filled with complete and utter love and joy at being with Ennis again, whispering into Ennis's hair and breathing in his scent (god, what I wouldn't give to be in that position ::)) and the second because he's just so damned horny, clearly enjoying Ennis opening up to him and clearly realising that he wants more than friendship from Ennis.

He will be eternally missed, but he will never be forgotten

Christopher Nolan, accepting the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe on Heath's behalf.

He was, as an actor and a professional and a human being, one of a kind

Charles Roven, accepting Heath's BAFTA.

This award tonight would have humbly validated Heath's quiet determination to be truly accepted by you all here — his peers within an industry he so loved.

Kim Ledger, accepting Heath's Oscar.
