His face is a poem.   Every verse we can think of dies in the fire of his eyes.

Twisted, this pic is quite beautiful.  Yea, I shall haunt until the dusk of time | The heavy eyelids filled with fleeting dreams.

Very beautiful poem, Thomas. :) Thanks for posting it.
The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

The camera really loves this guy  :d)

Thanks Thomas  :)

I am just amazed of how many pix this guy has.  I don't think I'll even have half of it in my entire life...

Thanks also, Pierre.  :)

Time to end the day with a few pix.

I love all the pics of brother and sister.  They really don't look alike -- not the shape of face, not the mouth or nose...but I can see it in the eyes.  Anyway, they are cute together.  And, I always think a boy/man needs a sister, and an older one is good -- those boys grow up to be men with a good sense of the feminine.  Generally speaking.  ;)

I do think a lot of his sensitivity comes from her and his mom.  After all, they are best friends.    You are right: those boys grow up to be men with a good sense of the feminine -- they are most wonderful lovers, whatever the orientation.

She doesn't look too bad here...

Lovely picture of them both!  I love her short hair, too.  (I like his longer and hers shorter  :)

kathy

I do like her look here.  Her eyes seem to glitter.  Do they have the same eyes?

As to eyes: I have a fascination for green eyes.  I wonder sometimes if it would suit Jake's complexion to have green eyes...

He is perfect enough as is.  :)

Of course I like his dad, too!

Stephen Gyllenhaal's most beautiful poem is his son.

Don't you think Maggie looks good here too?

How could I have missed this pic?  The formality of the patterened background contrasts exquisitely with the informality of his pose.

More than the star to the night, More than the rain to the lea, More than heaven to earth Art thou to me.

He's prettier than she is  ::)

He's handsome... shes pretty.

She don't look like she had her face chemically peeled to get rid of any emotions...Shes got a face that tells u something, and it tells u shes got a brain to back up a gorgous exterior... she looks strong... she is pretty, I would prefer her to many other woman that look like barbie... a dime a dozen she ain't... :)

Well, of course, but i can admit when a girl is hotter/sexier/more attractive then a guy. i think Scarlot Johanson has Jake beat by a short mile, ditto for Kate Beckinsale
