I have been spoiled so many times in the Oh Baby pix thread, I could maybe spoil some Jake's fan here [/b]  >:D #)
Oh... Thomas, LJN and Co.  You're welcome, BTW  ;)  >:D #)

You have certainly spoiled one right now.

I love Jack Twist.

I love him to pieces.

oh god, I really can't stand watching the scene where Ennis turnes Jack down and he heads for his truck which such utter disappointment in his eyes.....I just can't stand it. and seconds before ( like on this pic ), he was so happy....

That last one... I have never really noticed that VERY happy to see you grin..I mean I have seen him smile and look happy but that was just amazing... HE LOVES THIS MAN (Jack does I mean, and I am once again stunned by Jakes acting ability)

Lureen noises -- yes -- the little inner gasps of almost-pain-but-could-be-pleasure that slip out...

I, too, am so taken by both Heath and Jake, how they knew they needed to make this real, wanted to make this real, for us.  And they sure did.  The emotional byplay throughout, between Ennis and Jack, could not be more authentic and telling just the right story...

Can you imagine...this utter happiness, I mean, that 14-hour drive, not to mention since he got Ennis's postcard about the divorce, Jack's mind and heart had been running wild thinking how his true life now was going to begin, with the man he loves...and then, whap upside the head by Ennis -- and turning around and driving back in tears...

Okay, let's get back on track and just strut Jake pix for all to drool over.

So long as it is not explicit.  If I remember the movie well, it was not.  Show simply the face -- a wonderful face.  :)

I seriously dislike that term "wife beater."  A horrible name -- a better name needs to be come up for those kinds of undershirts.  However, whatever it's called, Jake looks tremendously hot in it.

I can only agree, kathy.    It is such an unfortunate term.

Seriously, TD, I wasn't meaning against you for using the term!  I have other young friends who do, also, and they know I'm going to say that every time, that somebody needs to come up with a better name, please.  You don't need to change the post; I put in my two cents worth!

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.
