I love him, i love him... <^( <^( <^( <^(

Twisted I am so laughing at you out loud, you holed away wherever you are (work? home?) and posting pix like a madwoman, and your comments!

You're ten hours ahead of me, but I still can't figure out when you sleep :)

I do like Patrick Swayze too  :) But Jake, nothing can compare to him <^(

I like P.S. also -- but not even to be compared, really, these two.

A comment:  I frequently see men ("straight" men I guess), when they have an arm around another man, they don't put their hand out flat on the other man, wherever the hand is falling.  But will have it in a fist like this, or just like the wrist or bottom of the palm resting on the other man's shoulder, but not the whole palm and fingers.

The things I spend my time thinking about, huh?

I love this one !!!  <^(

BSome in Hollywood label him as a "geek".   Well, at least he is literate.  ;)

I didn't know he had a "geek" reputation.  Cool!  That ups him in my estimation then.

A bit unusual or different -- I like this.  And it sure looks like he's got big feet...  I knew Heath has big feet, but I don't know Jake's shoe size, shame on me.  Actually, I know none of his vital statistics except his height.  His weight seems to go up and down, depending on level of built-up-ness.

kathy

Yes.  I don't know whether this fluctuation in physical build is good for someone this young...

Well, I don't think it's good for anyone, is it?  Worse when you're younger, not settled into your normal adult size?

Right at first I thought that's a violin bow.  And then I'm like, oh -- be still my heart...  That would be too much for me, if he also played some beautiful instrument like that.  I think I'd just go ahead and faint whether I needed to or not.

kathy

I feel exactly this way with the superb and beautiful Joshua Bell.  :)

OT, but thank you for reminding me of Joshua Bell.  I'll have to look into him -- haven't seen anything for a while.

I love the twist of his torso in this.  Always like his poses.  Nice shirt, too, probably a sleeveless/tank.

Didn't I read that he is "double-jointed," which means he can do all sorts of weird things?  Hmmm...

kathy

I so love your comment on the torso.  You are an aesthete.  :)

Takes one to know one, my man.  You have actually encouraged me to see more when I look at these pics.

And of course I can't neglect to mention the turn of the neck and head along with that twist of the torso -- a beautiful composition.

Always love classic Jake.  :)

"Classic Jake" to us means around BBM time, yes?

kathy

You could say that.  But to the bare essentials: it is the eyes, the hair, and the elegant look.

Okay, by "classic" you mean this elegant look.  Yes, I love this very much.

I think I was speaking more of an age in my earlier comment about BBM time.  You know, my little "thing" I'm always looking at.

I love this look from the infamous SAG Awards...

Like a lamb among wolves...

Two lambs among wolves.  Poor Heath, how they made fun of his teapot pose.  Which I think was darling.  I wonder if any of our gay men here thought he was making fun of being "swishy."  I didn't sense that at all.  Sorry, OT.  But the two of them together that night were just so sweet together.

I seldom see pix of him baring his armpits.  He is a bit too boyish for the pose.  The mature Jake will do greater wonders with this pose...

I agree, as you know I would.  So, can we find one of those?  The mature Jake with armpits bared?

Well now my new favorite colour is green :) ;) ;D

I do love him in light shades of green.  :)

This is a fabulous photograph anyway, the dingy town but with some splashes of pastel, and then him in pastel.  The composition:  he is like the vanishing point but the opposite.

What an interesting pic.  The setting.  The clothes.  The look.  They certainly go together...

This thread has been wonderful today... I hadn't seen this pic before either, and it is interesting.
It looks like we've all used the power of telekinesis and done a little something to that shirt he's wearing to make the picture better... ::)   or maybe that's just me.. >:D :8

Yes, this whole series with this shirt is intriguing.

When he smiles like this, I feel a bit insecure.  It is such a knowing smile  -- it feels that you are party to some dreamed-of mischief...

That's a darling feeling you've got there, Tom!

ever been kidnapped | by a poet | if I were a poet | I’d kidnap you | put you in my phrases and meter | you to Jones beach | or maybe Coney island | or maybe just to my house | lyric you in lilacs | dash you in the rain | blend into the beach | to complement my see | play the lyre for you | ode you with my love song | anything to win you | wrap you in the red Black green | show you off to mama | yeah if I were a poet I’d kid | nap you (Nikki Giovanni)

Love This Poem !!  Lyrical and visual and twisty like kidnaps me and tosses me here and there...

This one is still one of my faves. There's just something about it- simple yet so stunning. <^(

And the tones of brown that I love him in a lot.  Maybe because I'm an Earth person.

Our handsome Jake :-*

And yet again, a slightly different look and expression.  :)

Is he better with short or long hair? He does not wear his hair too long.  I think Holden in "The Good Girl" sports long hair as far as Jake characters go...

I'm finding I like it about any length, I mean this basic layered cut, close-cropped at ears, neck.  When his hair is long, it's not long per se, but big -- just wildly sticking out.  Though I'd like to see him with long hair -- I swoon over men with actual long hair -- if it's well-kept that is.  This is my 60's background.  (But Heath is the exception to my rule that longer hair should be well-kept.)

I'm getting punch-drunk.  I swear, it's 10:30 pm here and I haven't even gotten to any "discussion" threads or what have you.  Another night with Jake Pix!
