They were respectful of each other's opinions, each glad to have a companion where none had been expected.

Good morning  :ghug:

His eyes are like the ocean..

The blue of the oceans pale before his eyes...

Tropical paradise blue.

I just took these. They are from the Oprah show.

The Oprah pix are truly wonderful.  Hard to beat the look.

I so agree -- but then, this also is when I first started to know them as people, around this time, so I am particularly fond and think they are at a beautiful best around this time, post-BBM time.

I love this.. :) <^(

Is this a common gesture that he does when he is nervous?

Why?  Have you noticed it a lot?  I think I've only noticed it a couple times, now that you mention it.  He probably caught it from Heath.

Odd -- his hand looks kind of delicate.  Although he doesn't have small hands.  Must be just odd angle.

I do think he was nervous, in his boyish sort of way.  Heath may look nervous when he fidgets, but I think Heath is nervous when he grimaces or freezes.

I agree.  Heath's "tics" aren't from nervousness,  just his crazy expressiveness.  His nervousness probably shows more in his face, a stuffness.

Look at this, though, it's very funny -- he's actually sitting on his hands in this pic!

It doesn't seem like Jake was nervous in this show, but then, we can't know how he was feeling inside.

Thanks, Twisted.

I find the Oprah pix quite beautiful.  Incidentally, they did not announce beforehand the day when they taped this in Chicago, but I suspected that I was at the auctioneers next to Harpo Studios when they were doing it.  I only learned later when a friend from the 4 Seasons in Chicago said that he spotted Jake that night.  :)

Darn it -- might you have been able to get to go to the show if you had known?  Seems hers and other shows aren't that easy to get on.  Some tell you the date you get and you can't request it.  Or, try to wait in line that day?  Anyway, at least you were next door!  And your friend saw Jake.  Six degrees.

Ahhh Twisted, I with BOTH of you could come!

OT, but I'm seriously disappointed I can't go to the EGT...  Just not reasonably possible.  Unreasonably possible, and some days I fantasize about just up and doing it, but...  I'm too sensible.  Sorry, OT.

Glamorous <^(

Here's one snow pic and lovely suit he has here too :) Is it the same suit? :s)

Good question.  But it's in the same style!  ;)

Actually, sorry the fabric and weight and lapels are very different (says the seamstress).

But the heart is red!

Aha -- you are so right.  All the colors...and each one gives him a different cast...and red turns him into someone quite different.
