I love all of them differently.  I always like the color as the most realistic, as our eyes really see.  I like the B/W for interesting line and contrast.  Then I always like the special effects ones -- especially this one in violet.  Give me a really sexy Jake pic in violet please.  Oh how I shamelessly beg.

kathy

here's one, do you like? :)

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

This one is perfect. And shows just the right amount of living: a slight tan, lines in all the right places, just the right amount of fuzz, hair almost under control....sigh....perfection... <^(

Don't you just love that it's just almost out of control?  :)

His complexion takes on a reddish tinge in this one, no?  And the graininess is an interesting effect...

Very nice  <^( <^( <^(

A most elegant body profile.  Very elegant.  And the way the head twists to face the viewer. Exquisite.

Now kathy, this is a soft look, no? See, I am learning...

Yes, it is, definitely.

And oh, the eyes!  With that bit of blue on his t-shirt bringing out his eyes.  Those eyes are a gift from the Universe.  But you know, I never thought all that much that blue eyes were especially special, but now I think they certainly are!  I think even more so special on a dark-complected and dark-haired person, especially a man, than on, say, a blonde woman.

kathy

Yes, it is striking on a person with dark complexion and dark hair.  With Swedish, Russian, and Jewish heritages intermingled, his beauty is not stereotypical.   He is north, south, east, and west.  :)
