A blast from the past.. those eyes look like they're looking right at you. The face half in shade. The hair. The moles.<^(  Worth another look don't you think?.. ;)
Danny and me, Danny and me,  Danny and me and the sea,
Bobbing out of Pleasure Bay, the islands on our lee;
Spectacle, Georges, Gallops, the sun-wash on the brine
Castle Island where Skovo danced a bear-dance in bear-time.
The Golden Boy has chosen, I know what I will be
Danny and me, seanchai, Danny and me and the sea.

Yup, it's Worth to look again ;D :d) <^(
The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

This is probably around the time of Donnie Darko, no?  A different, but haunting look...

Love that whole series greenfrog. Thanks for sharing! :)

I have yet to see them (I'm in the office and can't see a lot of the pix.)  Thanks in advance, greenfrog.  :)

I love this.  I've seen the top part of it, but not this whole body shot.  I love Jake using his body like this, like dance.  I like this, martial arts, more than "typical" sports, but those are cool pics, too.

kathy

Did I say that I find the feet interesting?

I believe you have...  ::)

Yes, we like to see bare feet.  Both Jake and Heath, thank you.

kathy

Not to mention full body shots.   I love pix of bare arms, most especially.

I wouldn't have used the word somber.  But if I had, I would say the pink makes it look less somber.  Maybe what some call somber, I call earth-tones.  You know, dirt color.  I love browns -- dirt, nuts, tree bark, moths, things like that.  Whatever kind of beauty it is, it is certainly beauty, to me.

kathy

Browns with soft greens are less "somber" earth tones.  If therer was a bit of green, the effect would be lighter -- more buoyant.

Even her beautiful dress don't compare to his eyes..
Yes.  We don't love him too thin.  But not too bulked up, either.  In the middle, just right.  But I'm not complaining nonetheless, no matter what.

kathy

Indeed, I shall take him thick or thin.  :)

I do love his hair, no matter how he wears it.  But I do think he sticks to styles that accentuate his beauty.

Good.  He has sense, then.  A real sense of style, not "fashion."  Does what looks good on him, not what is the trend.  But heck, even if he wanted to do the trendy things, that would be okay, too.  But he does have his own unique style, doesn't he?

kathy

Again, I would like to know who is his hair stylist.  :)

This is exquisite..
The face and those eyes.  The look is both masculine and feminine...

Which I love, a look both masculine and feminine.  Even in the setting, the floral and the stripes.  I love floral and geometric together, as it's kind of "bi."  He just has had some terrifically artistic photographers, besides his wonderful characteristics.  Though we couldn't call it feminine in any usual sense of the word; rather, a soft and pretty masculinity.  But that's only one of his many facets...

kathy

Agreed.  A soft but masculine beauty.  :)

Even if he is like putty to their fingers, his "Jakeness" shines through...

Part of it is them, yes, but so much is hi.  He is just such a natural photographer's model.  Knows what to do with his Jakeness!

kathy

WE should seek to define "Jakeness".  Or is this an impossible task?

Picture him:

:)

Yes, I would like to see him in some kind of part like that.  Or, I can think of many others, as far as costume.  Just one for-instance, if he had played Casanova instead of Heath...

kathy

I think he would make an interesting Casanova...  Different from Heath's, to be sure...

If I were to make another carved gem bearing Jake's profile, I would use this one.  Perhaps I shall...

Yes -- I was going to ask if you had this one when you were making your choice.

kathy

Infortunately not.  But I could always have more made, God and my bank account willing...
