Awww  <^(

A killer smile, even then!

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Hanna.  I can see this one (and the preceeding one, also).  THank you.  This is quite beautiful, even if we don't see the fabled eyes...

He has the face of an angel in this one. <^(  The black and white of the outfit he's wearing, against the blue background that matches those lovely eyes...

You are also an aesthete.  :)

His beauty is doubled?  Who is the more beautiful?  The real or virtual Jake?  ;)

I so love the more serious looks. I can't explain it. Perfect doesn't even scratch the surface.  <^(

You say it so well, LJN.  :)  Perfection takes flight when confronted by a greater power.  ;)

No, it doesn't matter.  But he doesn't have a "classically" high forehead, such as Heath does.  It's not really low, but not what you would call high by common definition.  Actually, you and I would probably call it just perfect...

kathy

Heath's is indeed quite high.

We must have a Vulcan mind link.  As I came to this picture and was scrolling down, my thoughts were just about exactly the same as your words which I then read and LOL'd...  Folly does seem to be the operative word.

kathy

I do think my favorite Jake look is quite close to yours.  ;)

Not to sound conceited, but I must say that you have good taste.  :)

To continue, now that I've recovered...  Though it be folly, I am identifying this as just about my absolute most favorite classis Jake look, for me...

kathy

Should I dare say the same?  :)

Until he smiles...then that one is my favorite!

And let's not forget to constantly thank you, Twisted, for keeping us in Jake Pix!

kathy

The beauty of the smile is magnified by the lines on his face and the twinkling of those eyes...

Hanna, this is so beautiful.  Thank you so much.  My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth...

I never heard that one before!  I think most people's tongues hang out.  You got something special in your mouth??

kathy

It is from the Pslams:

I am poured out like water. All my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax; it is melted within me.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd. My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. You have brought me into the dust of death.

St. Jerome quoted this when he heard news of the fall of Rome in 405/406 A.D.  ;)

This one is so weird and fun.  Some kind of mod Jake.

I envy the watery element in this pic.  ;)

Okay, I have a confession.  Usually I'm looking at Jake's body in this series of shots.  But now, looking at his face closely finally -- extreme gorgeousness!  Stunning Jake.

kathy

I try to give both (face and body) equal time.  :)

Haven't I already said that I can't wait for this film?  ;)

From some of the production photos, one can get a feel for how stunning Graysmith will look in this movie.  :)

Can't wait.  (And if there are more production photos, can they please be posted here?  Please?)  This is 70's, right?  I think the men would have slightly longer hair.  You know how they wore it all thick and covering the ears?  It wasn't a very flattering look, but still...  Graysmith looks better than many men of that era might have been looking.  I'm sure glad he isn't wearing polyester suits!  Anyway, I love the look -- just a cool, interesting, no-nonesense guy.

kathy

kathy, should we find a way to go to the premiere in SF or LA?

I love it that you noted the polyester!  :)

Incidentally, note the Zodiac ciphers in the pages in Jake's hands...

I like the typewriters :)  And that thing of rubber cement.  (I always wanted to be a set designer.)

kathy

kathy, you impress me.  :)  Can one still get rubber cement!?  Reminds me of my younger days...

I will be gone for most of Tuesday thru Friday on training.  How can I survive without the daily dose of Jake pix!?!

I shall try to log on for an hour or two every evening after the seminars!  :)

Thanks so much for feeding the obsession.  ;)

Good night, Friends.

Darn, I missed this last night, and now it's Wednesday -- so I hope I will see you have been able to log on each evening.

kathy

Thanks kathy.  Can't miss the Jake pix.  :)

Good night Thomas. :)

You will get your daily Jake's ;)

If I were Zodiac, I would give myself up to him.  ;)

Thanks Twisted.  Godd night!

Oh you are bad!

What is retribution and eternal damnation when you can touch pure beauty for a while?

I'll try to see it after work.  Thanks for the tip.  :)
