I am a bit under the weather, so I take my leave.  Thanks all.  A lot of poetry for me today.  Very heavy...

Every pic of him is beautiful.  No exception.

Good night.  :)

Good night, Thomas ^f^

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Love the knowing smiles.  :)

Lovely.  I'm sure there was a time there when they were "joined at the hip" so to speak, in their minds.  Like someone would ask a question and they only had to look at each other and know what was in the other's mind, because they had experienced what they had together.

I love that, too...but I really love the Jake-as-earth-tones look, you know.

kathy

For some reason, I love his look in very dark clothes also.  In formal attire, he is apt to be in black and white -- rather than in green or brown.  He is conservative in this regard, but he is beautiful being conservative.

I totally agree -- stunning in the dark and formal; beautiful with some softness in the earth tones.

Sorry, I'm going to be picky -- I don't love how his jacket keeps gaping open in a lot of these pix.  Not a great cut?  Usually his clothes love him so much, they fit to a T (whatever that means).

Sigh -- I'm not through at all, but must call it a night, I think...

kathy

I didn't notice that...  I was concentrating too much on his face, I suppose...  ;)

Well, me, too, usually -- but I just kept noticing those damn gaping lapels in so many pics of this appearance.  I'm a seamstress, among other things, so I notice fit.  When usually he's so perfect -- a dresser's dream.
