I don't know how one could not love him.
I also love Thomas' classic Jake pic.

Thanks for today's pix.  <^(

Still classic Jake.  :)

Love it, my man of words:  "fistfulls of Jake gems."  (Though I think it's fistfuls.)

kathy

I stand corrected.  ;)

This one's OMG to me.  I just love him in this earth tone.  And I like his warmth and life juxtaposed with the hard lines of architectural detail also.

kathy

kathy, I also love the pix with architectural details.  I know this is "old" bit it remains my favorite architectonic Jake pic:

WOW  :d) He looks INCREDIBLE in that color  <^(

carbyville , kathy and I have been discussing how earth tones seem to go well with his look/complexion.

Thoms, give me some words here.  Can it be possible, to keep seeing more beauty after more beauty?  It borders on the insane.  I surrender.

Actually, I lied --yes this is my favorite Jake...but I do have other favorite Jakes.  I can never pick just one.  And you can't either! /b]

But this one for whatever reason suits me, my earth-toned, dreamy-eyed temperament or something.  But I sure can go for the others, too.

kathy

There's the rub!

No -- I do like it exactly like this.  Actually, have I indicated that I like less?  I actually like more, such as in MTV Awards pics-- more than fuzz, less than a full-blown beard.  Truth is, I kind of like any stage of facial hair I'm thinking.

kathy

ok then.  :)

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.
