You are welcome, carbyville.  The Venice pix are a real joy.  They are so lovely.

I like ALL of their appearances together.  But Venice was indeed lovely.  More at ease, having fun.  Better than the televised awards shows, etc.  Though I love those, too.

Two of my favorites.  :)

Your favorites, my favorites -- so many favorites.  I love these two.

Just gone around the thread downsizing the quoted pix a bit guys :)

[IMG width=200] is the best way to tread quoted pix :)

Will do, babe.  I thought 300 was okay, though; sometimes 200 is too small.  But I will do 200.

Three great men who did wonderful job :)

Did they ever.  And we have so much to thank Ang Lee for.  What other director, I wonder, would have done this comparably?

I rather like the gray suit he had on in the LA premiere.

Me, too.  This is a richer, warmer gray than that other one that I don't love so much, and just looks more "Italian" than "LA businessman."  Not that I'm an expert on suits -- it's just subjective.

So true.  It is a bit more on the boyish side, no?  The look is a bit more mature, nonetheless.  :)  This Moonlught Mile premiere is a touch similar. no?

Yees, that other pic on the boyish side with a touch of maturity (as opposed to in his maturity with the darling boyishness).  And yes, this one is similar.

He has excellent poise.  :)

Poise, yes, that's it exactly.  But also, creative movement, besides perfect body type.

Love this pic with Heath...

Yes, yes...but I just wished they had kissed.  Why not?  They almost did...

Don't you just love this man? :)

Oh yes, I do.  I can't believe these pics -- how can I stand it, one more beautiful than the last, and then another more beautiful than that...

Well, I'm only 10 pages behind now (Wednesday night).  I would be caught up, but for that weird quirk last night.  Goodnight.

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Yes, blue shirt.  But this mustard color even looks fab on him.  I love this shoot -- though a bit young for my preferences, he is unqualifiedly stunning.

Yeah!  I can post tonight!  This weird thing happening on some threads for me.  No Reply button!  I've even tried clicking where the Quote or Reply button should be, but it doesn't work.  Can't Reply on Oh Baby thread, nor on Ennis or Jack threads.  Last night couldn't post here.  So...20 pages behind again!  I liked it when I was more in sync with you other posters -- lately it's been like ships passing in the night.  :)

kathy

Kathy, as we talked about, you are not the only one who has been noticing that threads are being locked.  Do let any of the moderators knew when this happens again.

We also like him without a shirt, no?  ;)

Yes, I do have such a sweater, in denim blue.  You should definitely have such a sweater -- seems a very nice Chicago fall and spring item, or indoors in winter, curled up watching BBM or reading fanfic...

kathy

I'll try to find it.  It's marvelous that you have such a sweater!

The more pics I see, the better he gets...  I would think I or we would be getting "jaded" by now, but that doesn't seem to be the case...

kathy

Jake is truly habit-forming.  ;)
