The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Oh, this one is interesting, I've never seen it! It's in Berlin, Germany with its mayor Klaus Wowereit. (Who is gay, btw)

Nice pic!

I love the sensitivity of his characters best of all.  I think he is sensitive in real life.

I love this!  Besides being a god, and divine sex object, and stunningly handsome, he's just so real and delightful.

kathy

All this is true.  Yes, he is utterly delightful.  :)

This is the most beautiful of his buzzed-hair time (which I generally don't love all that much) -- the softness of his face without distraction from his gorgeous hair.

kathy

You are right, kathy.  The softness is enhanced, even though the angles of the face are highlighted.  Sounds contradictory, but...

As to the buzzed-off hair, if he was just some guy that I'd never seen with hair but did this common thing of shaving off his hair as so many men do these days...and he wore gigantic baggy clothes, and he hadn't been in BBM...I know I wouldn't find him that appealing.  Just me, but I don't know that I would notice how beautiful his face is.  Except with repeated midnight viewings of his pix...

kathy

As I said before, you can make him wear a potato sack and he would still be beautiful.  :)
