How cool! I didn't know that, about Mayor Wowereit. What a neat picture, then.

kathy

Love the Berlin pix!

Yes, Greenfrog -- I frequently see that lovely light dusting of chest hair there, when his shirts are open. And Thomas and I (and I'm sure we're not the only ones) love that little hollow at the base of his throat...
kathy

Agreed. His neck is a column of ambergris. Forgive the hyperbole!

Yes, tpe. I don't mean power in the usual sense. But the power that his beauty, and his gentleness and all his other sterling qualities, have to draw us in...

kathy

As you had said, he is most beautiful when he is most vulnerable.

This is a beautiful one -- I hadn't seen it. It is a lovely contradiction, indeed, just as you said.

It's a bit difficult for me to see his face, or his self actually, without his hair. It's just odd. Can't quite describe it. He's the same person, but somehow I think his hair is part of his personality, so something is actually missing, for me. But then, I like hair. So many men do this these days, and I find it...curious.

But I still think he looks lovely like this, too. A fine head, and fascinating hairline.

kathy

The Jarhead look was so different that a lot of my friends who love him did not appreciate this look at all. It is a different persona. For me, it's the same Jake Gyllenhaal.

MOre of the Jarhead workout then.

Saint Jake (see the halo?) and the Prophet Jonah...

I can see Jake painted on the Sisteine Chapel...

This is a wonderful pic. He is both youthful and soulful in this pic.

The more mature photos have less angst, but they can be just as soulful...
