A Worthy Cause
« Reply #17884 on: Jan 04, 2007, 07:51 PM »
I admire his attempt to commit to various causes.  Unlike other actors, he is relatively unassuming about them (unless they are tied somehow with his movie commitments, as in TDAT).  The fact that he tries is in itself worthy of admiration.

Friends, have a good night!

Rosie, thanks.  I should ask Twisted which hosting site she uses so that I get to see all the pix she posts...

And welcome back.

Did I ever tell you that I like Mr. Gyllenhaal?

:s) Not that I can recall Thomas  ;) I fancy him myself  :) Beautiful pic  <^(

I can't see any of Twisted's pix on pg 594-598 there's not even a little red box- just empty space  :-\\  :\'(

Hmmm, I can see them.. And Thomas saw them yesterday..
The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

OMIGOD!   Have I worked it out? Thomas can you see this?  Can anyone see this? ( I'm not mad, I'm trying to change my housing site so Thomas can see my pics )

If you can Thomas, it's right up your street I think. A bit of a profile ( well, ish, )and I think it's new to boot.  O0

BTW Doesn't he look divine in the stills from this film, I can't wait to see the whole thing. I wouldn't care if there were no dialogue, no story, ( I'd actually prefer no story, if it's about murder  :\'( )  as long as jake is   on the screen for an hour or two, looking like this..... <^(
