The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

I love these series of pix because for some reason, the red of the carpet reflects on his clothes and on his face.  It looks like he is on fire.  :)

OMIGOD!     Can anyone see this?

I can see it- Dear God! I'm with you- I can't wait for this to be out already.

OH, you know I've been a good girl and haven't posted this in a while....... but I can't help it, it's one of my all time favourites. <^(

Me, too.  I love the straight-on gaze, full of sweet mischief; and I love him in the cuddly sweater, especially cuddling himself, yum.

Isn't he gorgeous in this?    (:) (:)  Those shoulders!  (:)

You love his shoulders!   :*(  I haven't ever commented on them, myself, except maybe when they're bare.  So, a new sub-sub-sub-thread, Jake's shoulders.   :P

We love him!!!

Notice the rings :)

Twisted, I love this little series you did -- "we love him this, we love him that..."  Yes, we do.  And this last one totally a favorite of mine.  The coloring, the attitude.  But I love them ALL...  Thanks!

(If you even remember doing this :)  It was on 12/21 -- I'm still catching up from the holidays.  Such a chore!  <^(
