As Rosie had said, he is like good wine.  He only gets better as he matures.  :)

A bit early, but I have some errands to do.  Friends, I'll see you tomorrow!

Good night!

kathy, I posted all the pix I could find in this issue in a separate thread.  Hope to get a copy soon...  Tonight?

I got the issue  ^-^ Good Lord! I read the article- he's not currently dating anyone and he's thinking about having kids. I'd be more than happy to help him out on both counts  O0

I usually like Jake clean shaven but I adore this picture.  So ruggedly handsome. <^(

Boo_boo, this has always been one of my very favorites, too.  Rugged is a good word (though his hair is a bit too neat for my personal preference).  He looks like a 1940's fly-boy.

Thanks LJN.  Here's another clip.  I actually love him best in this role.  How many people recognized him in this wacky foil costume?

I didn't know that was him until this minute.  Was that the skit of the guys coming in sh owing the agent-guy their stupid laser-dog video or something?

Much better without dress

Yes.  Ultimately, I agree with that.  Dresses are fine, but for dress-up or fun.  Men's clothes are much more sensible and comfortable and he is sexy with regular clothes on anyway.  However, if he wants to wear one of those Island skirts, or a pretty silky blouse with skin-tight jeans, those kinds of clothes would be fine with me, too.  "Feminine" styling on a man is lovely -- it doesn't have to be a dress.  Anything he wants, even the (ugh, this old hippie says) business suits.

kathy, this is close to the perfect boy-man look:

I would say it is, Thomas.  Especially with a serious look, it teeters toward the man but still with the unformed youth in the boy's face.  What a fascinating study this is.

I suspect that his face is not half so handsome as his heart.

A pic from a classic series.  With this, I bid you all a good night!  :)

Is this a line from something?  It's beautiful.

Love him with these rich, saturated colors.  And I love his clothes here, too.  Not that I don't always.

More on the 2007 GG:

I like that piece of wayward hair at his left ear.  Where did I read where he said he often had bad haircuts in his movies?  I don't think his hair has ever looked bad -- even sleeping in a tent.  Then, he had said he liked having his hair shaved off for Jarhead, that it was a powerful feeling, and took away any sense of vanity.  That kind of surprised me, because I wouldn't think he's vain about his hair, or about anything.  I mean, he has to know what he's got physically in the way of looks, but certainly doesn't seem vain about it.  Unless showing himself so freely would be considered vain...but I think not.

I found that interesting about Jake having his hair shaved off for Jarhead - it must have been a powerful feeling, but scary too, right?  And also, I could be wrong, but I thought I read somewhere that Jake was known for being a little precious about his hair - it could have been said in a jokey way, I suppose, and it could have been Jake saying it himself, because we know he's happy to send himself up!
