Oh God, Rosie.  You always have to kill me in the mornings!  :)

I am slow this morning, and I will have to go out in a few minutes for a couple of hours.  But so many wonderful pix!  Thanks.  I shall catch up a bit later...   :^^)

He's just a sweet kid.  :)

Oh he is indeed Thomas! Soooooo sweeeeeeet!!!   <^( <^(

A particular favourite Jake Lick.. <^(  His eye's are so genuinely happy in this.  <^( <^(

Danny and me, Danny and me,  Danny and me and the sea,
Bobbing out of Pleasure Bay, the islands on our lee;
Spectacle, Georges, Gallops, the sun-wash on the brine
Castle Island where Skovo danced a bear-dance in bear-time.
The Golden Boy has chosen, I know what I will be
Danny and me, seanchai, Danny and me and the sea.

Well.. yes! As you all know I'm more a Ennis/Heath girl, but one cannot say that Jake is not a beautiful guy.

LOL, that's my problem with him, he's nearly too perfect.  ;)

Oh, holy cow...another one I've not seen before...he is just so incredibly luscious I can barely stand it!   (t)

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

I kept noticing that, too, Thomas, during the movie and whenever certain clips have been shown.

kathy

We are still keeping a tally on Jake's handedness.  :)  I should enter this into that thread!

I love seeing pix like these side-by-side, watching Jake grow...  Yet still that essence he has, has always been there, just continues to get richer.

kathy

What a wonderful side-by-side comparison, kathy.  I love him in both, but I must admit that love the mature Jake even more.  :)

Not that this is bad:
