The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

“What Jack remembered and craved in a way he could neither help nor understand was the time that distant summer on Brokeback when Ennis had come up behind him and pulled him close, the silent embrace satisfying some shared and sexless hunger."

You know some of these drawings are AMAZING. I wish I could draw, than I would have a legitimate reason to study Jake's pictures as closely as I do... :i

I can draw, from photographs.  Not life-drawing well at all, though.  God, can you imagine an life-drawing class with Jake as the model??

But, I can't tear myself away from just looking at all these pix to ever do any drawing (and it's very time-consuming for me), nor could I pick just one pic, either.

Especially your lungs -  It's all that hyperventilating.   ;)  Or your complexion  - It's all that dribbling....or maybe that's just me..  ;D :i

Maybe it's good for you -- like aerobic exercise, raise your heart rate.  And all the falling down and getting up is good exercise, too.  And maybe it improves your eyesight, all the focusing; plus all that good stuff coming into your brain.

No way, Rosie -- no need to be embarrassed here!  We're all shamelessly in this together.
