This is thy hour, O Soul, thy free flight into the wordless | Away from books, away from art, the day erased, the lesson done | Thee fully forth emerging, silent, gazing, pondering the themes thou lovest best | Night, sleep, death, and the stars.

Good night.

I know I've said this, but I love when he grins big. Those fangs. Such a captivating smile. And LJ (it was you right?), I'm hearing those eye lashes too

lol

With Jake, everything seems new all the time.

Pay special attention to his neck in this one, kathy:

Oh Twisted, I was just kidding. I'd rather not be at the head of the line. I'd be too nervous!

Besides, you want to be his last love, not his first.

He is STUNNING!

He is stunning, no doubt about it. He is totally at his best in these pics. Like when he was making all the appearances the week before Zodiac, we kept going on about how he looks better by the minute. So friggin' true!

Amusing. Is this from the shoot with the pic of him biting his lower lip, in the blue shirt?

In a weird Six Degrees of Separation thing, I was watching "Meet the Fockers" on the TV last night. One of Dustin Hoffman's shirts reminded me of the one Jake is wearing here....

I never saw this -- love it. Love the shirt, and the blue of his eyes with it; love his face, his hair, love the chest hair and on down.

I love pictures where his hair is growing back in and still in that in between stage.

I guess with fangs, lips, neck, face, eyes, eye lashes, and tongue, we are getting to be very encyclopedic in our love for Jake, no?

Good point, kathy!

Honestly, I think he is only getting better with age, and not necessarily physical. I think he would be fascinating to know in his later years, when his heartthrob reputation is cast aside.

kathy, I think it is one of his Jarhead costars -- Damion Poitier, I would guess.

A Jake classic; if you have not noticed before, take note of the hair in his arms:

A blogger's experience meeting Jake:

Meeting Jake
Posted: 16 October 2006

Today I met Jake Gyllenhaal. I'll admit to having a bit of a crush on him since seeing Brokeback Mountain, so it was cool to meet him in person -- especially to see how nice he was. He was being honored at the National Art Awards, and luckily a good friend of mine is a Board Member, so she invited me as her guest. He came with a group that included Lance Armstrong which begged the question -- why is Lance cozied up to a bunch of hot Hollywood actors (Matthew McConnaughey) since breaking up with Sheryl Crow? Hmmmmm...
