The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Mine too, Thomas.  What is it about this pic - I'm not sure but I love the way he's looking at the camera - oh and I love the way he's standing.

His upturned grin, and the way it compliments his epic eyes, really meets up with his happy trail to maintain a constant worry of mine that I will collapse in his brutal magnetism. Sometimes, for my own well being, I wish he was dumb as a rock. Maybe then I'd get some rest.

 <^( <^(

OMG, orangetruck ... you had me at "happy trail"!!   ;D (:)  Are you a DSD in disguise??  ;D   Too late to worry about collapsing ... here I go ....  (t)

Thank heavens Rosie has returned to help tend the flames of the Jake-love fire ...  I just LOVED this whole series of pics.  <^(

The pic on the left is showing an almost angelic beauty. His colouring is to absolutely die for.  <^(

Ha ha - I don't think I've seen this one before, but it's just so cute :)
He will be eternally missed, but he will never be forgotten

Christopher Nolan, accepting the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe on Heath's behalf.

He was, as an actor and a professional and a human being, one of a kind

Charles Roven, accepting Heath's BAFTA.

This award tonight would have humbly validated Heath's quiet determination to be truly accepted by you all here — his peers within an industry he so loved.

Kim Ledger, accepting Heath's Oscar.

You're welcome, boo_boo.  There are just some pix of him that make me want to cry.  Aesthetically, I find him peerless.  It's the perfection that moves me.

What coloured eyes....!!!! and this mouth !!!! <^(
As the moon lingers a moment over the bitterroots, before its descent into the invisible, my mind is filled with song. I find I am humming softly, not to the music, but something else, some place else, a place remembered; a field of grass where no one seemed to have been except a deer, and the memory is strengthened by the feeling of you, dancing in my awkward arms.............
