But would we survive this look either.....Nooooo...I can barely survive it on my pc!  His eyes and expression are just soooooo intense. (t) (t) I love many as you know Thomas, but I always come back to this....because of the way he is looking.....and that mole, and the slight smile, the whole thing is just so suggestive... The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Whoa!  I want Jake to stand behind me just like that...

It's an intimate moment in the midst of all the glamour.  :)

Apparently, RDJ did not attend Cannes with them.  I suspect that Jake wanted him to be there too.  How else can one explain his glowing tribute to RDJ at the Zodiac Press Screening?

I really wish RDJ were there also -- I'd enjoy their interplay.  Too bad.

Okay...now I REALLY have to go, as said Rosie.

The very definition of beauty.

Tu contiens dans ton oeil le couchant et l'aurore | Tu répands des parfums comme un soir orageux | Tes baisers sont un philtre et ta bouche une amphore | Qui font le héros lâche et l'enfant courageux

(You contain in your eyes the sunset and the dawn | You scatter perfumes like a stormy night | Your kisses are a philtre, your mouth an amphora | Which make the hero weak and the child courageous)
