What could have been a pointless, quirky movie full of gags became incredibly tender and sweet due to Jake's ability to inject self-deprecating humour without losing self-respect.

I watched this movie with my 13 yr. old and we giggled like crazy during this scene. This morning he was walking around the house singing, "Bright....and Shiiiiineeee"

Oops, I have to jump back to BB. Forgot to post these. These should seal the deal for Christie. You must watch this movie. Run. Don't walk.

Just a slight bit nicer than the Zodiac boxers.  >:D

Jake Gyllenhaal was the very special guest at the Rufus Wainwright concert at the Gramercy Theater in NYC last night.
The most amazing thing happened last night at the Rufus Wainwright concert at the Blender theater at Gramercy Hall in NYC ... Rufus has a song called "Between My Legs", during which - near the end - there's a spoken word part that sounds very Smiths-esque on the CD.
Well, to read it live last night at the end of the song ... Jake Freaking Gylenhall comes out and does it live.

ENJOY  ;)

(I should try to find a better pic, next time! lol)

Thanks Lost_Girl for posting this!  If you don't mind, I will post it in the Jake articles thread also!  :)

This pose is cool, the bent leg.  Looks posed, but looks cool.

kathy

Yes, that pose is beautiful.  It is relaxed, and there is a wonderful elegance to it all...

Really, I only picked this picture because I have to do some gardening in a minute. You know, water. The garden. Nothing to do with the water bottle in Jake's mouth. And the way his Adam's apple bobs up and down when he's drinking that water.
