BTW, remember the 4 hour test I had to take for this one company before leaving?  I am sure I did very well in that test.  But guess what?  The company decided to not continue with the application.  So whay did they make me take a 4 hour test in the first place, if they won't take my application seriously?

Exactly.  The companies are acting like prima donnas.  They probably think that they can wait and choose the very best -- holding out for some imagined better applicant.
