I love these that you have posted, loreen, wherever you got them.  Very beautiful juxtapositions.  But I have not seen anything like this, and it is very strongly moving.  What poor Alma sees in her mind, that she wishes she had never seen.

I do feel for her, a lot.  Just that my love is for Ennis and Jack.  Alma was equally a victim of the times, how things were then, and also the kind of person Ennis was.  If he hadn't found Jack, probably his repressed nature would have had some other manifestations.  So I'm glad that she found happiness with Monroe.

agree with you ksxks.  like ennis said "it ain't her fault".  she is a victim as much as ennis and jack are. looking at her always makes me wonder if lureen knows about jack and ennis.  because i got a feeling that unlike alma, lureen had no idea at all about the relationship between jack and ennis.  i don't know, may be it's because that's how i want it to be.  i feel like if lureen doesn't know, then there would be less "hurt" people in the world.

As about Alma! Being a wife, I know that neglecting Alma, I am neglecting myself... but I just can't help it! Since I fell in love with BBM, I neglected many things and obviously myself amongst them. :i :i :i

So true about Alma.  And yes, I think Lureen had no idea early on.  Personally, I felt that she only knew during the phone conversation with Ennis, after jack had died.

I also agree, that by the way she reacted during the phone call that that's when she found out.  Maybe she was so busy all of those yrs. taking care of business that she didn't read all of the "signs".

I like this one too - 2 things happening simultaneously - one in Ennis's home and the other one in the Aguirre's office! But both of them look so troubled I think!

i like this pic, loreen.  we can see the sadness in the her face.  contrasting with the other pic of her with jack and baby bobby - she sure looks happy in this other one.

the expression on the pic, especially on jack's face.. i almost reach out to touch and caress his face.  i like to imagine that when he came back that next summer, it is more of hoping to find ennis, rather than looking for a job.  i know i'm being silly, but i'm a hopeless romantic. when the heart rules, especially of the like of ennis and jack,  it a bliss to me (sorry  *o) )

Babe, you are not silly. It's exactly what happened there!! Jack was looking for Ennis and he hoped that Ennis was there that summer too, working for Aguirre.
