Thanks Ethan for all your help in fixing the forum.  I can get on the forum at home with no problem, but cant access it all on my computer at work.  Which is very strange. I've tried every day and it just doesn't connect.     I have no idea why I've never had problems before the forum stopped working.  If anyone has any ideas or advice I would really appreciate it!

Hi, I'm not sure if it's the right place to ask, but I tried to change my avatar and I don't seem to be able to do it. My old one vanished, but the new one (added from a URL) does not show up and the setting in my profile automatically goes back to "No avatar". Am I doing it wrong or is adding my own avatar impossible?

Hi Pimpernel,

You can change your avatar in your profile. Go to "Profile" on the top menu and select "forum profile." You have options to choose one from gallery, specify URL for an avatar or upload your own avatar.

Hi, thanks for your explanation but I'm already doing all of that, but when I specify the URL the avatar doesn't show up.

It's a new problem, I changed avatars before (admittedly, the last time was over a year ago...) but it doesn't seem to work now.
