Every time I read something about Heath I realise more and more the kind of person he was.The way he treated that girl is really lovely, very far from the image we all have of a movie star;because Heath was not that, but a humble and friendly person with everybody. Thanks for posting it,Keren, and for making us know him better still¡. ^f^
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

This is from a blog of a girl who was one of the dancers hired to perform in the video "Morning Yearning", directed by Heath:

Thank you for posting this girl's blog, keren!

These small things which are told about him, makes me love him even more.

I shake my hair out and he reaches towards me, putting both hands in my hair, scratching my scalp and giving it that messy look.
"Beautiful."The music starts....my hearts beating and I start to move. 2 minutes pass like nothing, I was "in it", I was going to perform and get lost in the music just as he had in all of his performances.... the song ends and silence fills the room.

I peer up and Heath is standing at the end of the stage....he grabs my hand with both of his, looks my straight in the eye and says, "That was brilliant. Really inspiring....I got chills. Thank you."

OMG Keren..... :\'( :\'( :\'( :\'( :\'( :\'( This is really moving, very special. Heath was the most amazing man ever!!!! Very humble, passionate and sweet. Tell me, isn't it sweet when he said that "beautiful"? When he said to the girl that her work was brilliant and really inspiring? Awww, this man touch my heart every time I read something new about him. How could every simple person in the world not to love him? That's impossible!!

Thank you so much for this, sweetie.  :^^)

Yes, Keren, thank you much.  As everyone has already said, things like this just make me love Heath even more.  What a beautiful soul, what a pure and energetic love of life, and an inspired artistry...  Makes me so sad...

You've all said it already, but how could I not add my thanks as well? Keren, that's just one in a long line of personal accounts by people who knew or worked with him, all saying the same things about his friendliness, humble nature and generosity, and it was so beautifully and humorously expressed too.

Just wonderful. <^(

Thank you for that Keren  :ghug: I'm all teary now, of course, but I smiled at a lot of it and giggled at some parts. This was the humblest thing I'd ever seen in Hollywood.  <^(

What Christian Bale had to say about Heath in the new Details magazine:

Quote
He was incredibly intense in his performance but incredibly mellow and laid-back. Certainly there was this great anarchistic streak to it — just getting dirtier than anybody’s envisioned the Joker before. Naturally, (the movie) was something I wanted to share with him — and expected to do so. And I can’t do anything else but hope that it will be an absolutely appropriate celebration of his work.

Thank you ynnaf. I'm sure Christian Bale was looking forward to promoting the movie together with Heath, sharing all the excitement around it together... :\'( :\'( :\'( Oh God this is one of the moments it hits me again, I can't believe he's gone.

I'm sure Heath won the affection and friendship of Christian Bale as well as any person he worked with; and I'm sure that Christian is really true when he says he was expecting to promote the movie with him. He,like all of us,can't understand still that such a loving person, with such a whole life before him to fill with so many projects, can be celebrated not only for his latest work, but for his LAST WORK...It's difficult to understand for anybody sensitive enough. :\'(

I think this is such a sweet story.

SIENNA MILLER has a special way of remembering her late pal HEATH LEDGER - she wears a pair of pyjamas the actor once gave to her.
The British beauty starred opposite Ledger in 2005's Casanova and the pair became close, socialising with each other after the film had wrapped.
And Ledger gave Miller the comfortable bedwear when she got soaked after falling in the rain after a night out with him and her mother in Venice.
She tells Britain's Telegraph magazine, "Heath and I had this amazing night out in Venice with my mother. It had been pouring with rain. Heath ran out in the middle of St. Mark's square and we were running around, and I slipped over.
"We all ran back to his (apartment) and he gave me these dry pyjamas to get home in."
And the star repaid the favour two years later, when the Brokeback Mountain star struggled to sleep while staying at her house.
She explains, "When he came over to my house last November, and he was having trouble sleeping, I gave them back, to help him sleep."
Ledger, who was found dead at his New York apartment in January (08), was said to have struggled with sleeping, which led him to overdose on the prescribed medication which killed him.
And Miller was so devastated after hearing about Ledger's death earlier this year (08), she asked the tragic star's father Kim to send the pyjamas to her so she would have a keepsake to remember him by.
She adds, "When he died, I was so sad that I didn't have these stupid pyjamas anymore, so his father found them to give to me."

I am increasingly concerned by the content of some of these posts - while I think it legitimate to mourn the loss of potential, beyond that I think it unnecessary to go.
