Ennis & Jack....You have forever opened my eyes to a reality I could not understand...did not want to understand.....

FYI, Ang Lee is Taiwanese, not Chinese, but he does has strong backgound of Chinese culture.

A few times in a life, if you're lucky, you get to bear witness to something that can be called magnificent.

In its purity, simplicity, honesty and beauty, Brokeback Mountain is one of those experiences.

I feel privileged that this extraordinary work of art was created during my lifetime so that I could be here to see it, love it, stand in awe of it, and preserve it in my heart along with all of the rest of you extraordinary people.

It has been 2 months since I first saw this magnificent film, and it is still in my thoughts each and every day. It has reinforced what I already believed to be true - we do not choose who our soulmate is - it just IS.  It has made me question many decisions I have made, and I understand now that feelings this pure are a gift from God.  For anyone to have to deny these feelings because of a society that does not understand or accept is the crime against nature.  My husband IS my soulmate - I have known it since the day we met.  And I vow NEVER to take that for granted again.

Wonderful that people who gave life to this masterpiece of tolerance and human care!
No discrimination, no appeal to hate and violence so common nowadays, but real
sensitiveness to anyone ready to accept love.

Thank you to all the people who brought "Brokeback Mountain" into our lives.  An achingly beautiful, bittersweet story that has affected so many in such a strong way and brought such  joy and an intensity of feeling we'll never forget.  For many of us, no story  has ever touched us so deeply.  Thank you all so much....

I cannot ever say "thank you" enough times for making Brokeback Mountain. So much love, so much pain, so much human condition. My life has changed thanks to this film ; there is no longer any room for giving up on love in my life, love is the only thing that counts, only love makes one alive, only love can work miracles.

Everyone keeps asking me why I like BBM so much. I can't describe it to them, so I know I can't find the words to describe it now. But it has moved me beyond anything else and I am so thankful that this has been brought it my life. I am humbled. I am so happy to know that BBM will always claim a piece of my heart. I just can't put it into words why BBM has such a hold over me. An entire gamut of emotions welled in me, obssessions of the scenes and dialogue from the movie. BBM sets me thinking, thinking about issues and countless "what-ifs". Most of all, it slices through the ice cold steel wall of indifference to wrench at the bottom of my heart. I find myself keep asking,"Do I really know what love is?" The kind of love that Jack and Ennis had. Theirs is a tragic love. Yet, there are so many heavenly moments, such moments are only possible when there is true love. How many of us have experienced our very own Brokeback Mountain? I wonder. And I yearn for it.

BBM opened my eyes to the fact that love is universal, unites us all and makes us human. Carpe diem, seize the day - if you find love, don't deny it. It's the greatest gift, whenever and wherever it's found, the one thing that lasts, up and betond the grave.

I don't really have much to say... I'm just really touched by every scene and music. I was a homosexual-hater before, but this movie changed me a lot.
It's the most perfect, precious, incredible, fantastic movie in my life.(or it's something beyond movie to me, I dunno)
Everything is just so beautiful... the director, actors, music, story, scene, meanings... oh I just can't explain them in words. It's about the deepest thing in my heart, the purest and deepest passion without being polluted by anything yet. :\'(  All I want to say is: I love Brokeback Mountain.
