Questo è tratto da un articolo che ieri Frankie ha pubblicato, un articolo da un sito della Destra Americana, quindi nessuna sorpresa. Beh, Fabio, tu sei la dimostrazione che anche "normal men" (termine terribile, tra l'altro, normali rispetto a cosa? Va beh...) amano questo film.



Grazie Frances per la bellissima citazione...si è stato proprio così!!
Non immagini quanto questa scena mi appartenga, per il mo vissuto, per le mie esperienze, perchè mi sono immedesimato nell'amarezza di Jack che si rendeva conto, in modo inequivocabile, che le sue aspirazioni erano illusioni........

FIRST VISION ---> 2 febbraio (quindi fra un po' sono 4 mesi);
Ma forse la notizia più importante è che sono passati quasi due mesi dall'ultima visione: che stia guarendo?

Questo film devo averlo intravisto in tv un bel po' di anni fa. Me lo ricordo molto vagamente, però c'ho ancora alcuni flash. Mi ricordo soprattutto che non era esattamente un film "ordinario"... (e poi il bus!).  ::)

Non ordinario, confermo. Da alcuni è stato accostato a Transamerica. Lo stesso riuscito mix tra commedia e dramma a mio avviso. E poi, ovviamente il tema della transessualità e (qui) del travestitismo. E un personaggio, quello di Bernadette, non così dissimile da quello della Huffmann (stessa aria da professoressa schifiltosa!)

Suvvia Ginevra, non ti scaldare! Che poi, tutto sommato, in questo trafiletto si dice pure una cosa vera: solitamente noi uomini non amiamo moltissimo i film con storie romantiche strappalacrime. Quel che non dice però è che ci sono le eccezioni e che queste dipendono molto dalla qualità dei film. E poi BBM è tutto tranne un Titanic strappalacrime!  :f)

Personalmente quello che contesto non è tanto che la recensione sia un recensione negativa (ne ho lette di ben scritte e, per qualche aspetto, perfino condivisibili), ma il tono offensivo.

Quel "hopping in the saddle", quel "normal men". L'articolo, che trovate nella sezione news, è pervaso da questo tono insopportabilmente  machista

..per animare il dibattito...

..riflettevo l'altro giorno sul fatto della cremazione di Jack: non credete che questa scelta faccia nascere tutti i dubbi sulla reale causa della morte ? Se il suo corpo non fosse stato cremato, ci sarebbe stato un luogo fisico in cui Ennis avrebbe ritrovato se stesso?(BBM non era più che un ricordo per entrmbi)..potrebbe essere anche un elemento che lascia aperta la porta per un eventuale seguito?? Gli americani ci hanno abiutuato a tutto: dalle resurrezioni, ai sogni divenuti incubi, che si interrompono ed improvvisamente ricomincia tutto dal principio.....
