Yeah  *sigh*  bummer.  It woudl be SO great to hear Ang's comments on each scene, or the boys of course too
but I am guessing they won't.  I might actually be hard for the boys to have to scrutinize things like the love scenes.

Sometimes it comes under "language feature", when you have the films dubbed, you hit language and sometimes you get to hear the director's or actor's comments.

Well I tried to order through Wolfe, but either my browser has some sort of death wish or that site is screwed up, because everytime I get to the point of pre-order it says my cart is empty and won't let me check out! UGH. So It will be off to Amazon for me.

Amazon ain't that bad? I think the big sites may cost ever so slightly more but I feel thay are more reliable..but then thats just me..  Anyhoo it's not far off now...

I am holding out hope for that, it's possible.  I would think Ang would be happy to do it.

Cowboy - Don't give up!! I had the same problem when I first tried to order from Wolfe, but I just went back and tried over and over, and eventually my order went through. Besides, you won't get your BBM bandana if you order from Amazon.

U want me to take a piccie when I get home, so you cen see I'm not making it up? Dunno if I can get to see it yet tho...have to check if my portabel dvd player likes zone 1 dvd's... got three nghtshifts ahead of me...

Naw, I believe you. I'm just jealous. It's all good, though. I can only afford one copy and I'm waiting to buy it at the store I used to work at. Everyone treated me like shit there, because they thought I was gay. I'm gonna walk in wearing the uniform for my new job, which pays more than that one did. That don't have to know that I haven't got a paycheck from there yet. ;)

HELP ME GUYS!!!!!!!

it's gonna be ages until the release in Israel, and I don't even have a DVD player, only a video player... and when I checked Amazon I found it only on DVD. does any of you guys who ordered the DVD have a possibility to copy it from DVD to video (VHS)??? I might buy myself a DVD player at last (BBM definitely worth it) but I'm checking other options first...

I would, but I don't know if an American tape would play in your VCR. You should buy a DVD player, though. I bought one like a year and half ago, and I am so happy that I did.

'Brokeback Mountain' coming to DVD on April 4
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Those who have yet to see Brokeback Mountain, or those looking to see it again, will soon have a choice — the DVD will hit stores April 4, even with the film still in theatrical release.
 
  The Brokeback Mountain DVD will feature a profile of Oscar-winning director Ang Lee.

That's a rare overlap, said a spokeswoman for DVD distributor Universal Studios Home Entertainment. But, she explained, with the film still riding high on its eight Academy Award nominations and three Oscar wins, its theater run has been extended, bumping into the scheduled DVD release.

The DVD's special features include a profile of Oscar-winning director Ang Lee and interviews with Oscar-winning screenwriters Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana. Oscar-nominated stars Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal also discuss the rodeo and wrangling training they had to prepare for their roles as the cowboys in love.

The Brokeback Mountain DVD is expected to sell for $29.98.

Brokeback, which opened in theaters Nov. 30, has grossed $81 million to date.

I want to go to Canada to buy DVD due to its better designed cover. However, I am afraid it doesn't contain "extra stuffs", since I didn't see any information on Amazon.ca.

should I but US version instead? hard to decide... :'(

Yesterday, my mom asked me if I was going to buy BBM. I wasn't going to tell her, because I was afraid she would tell my dad, but I don't lie. If I'm asked, I tell the truth. She was happy. She said that she was hoping I would, because she could see herself watching it several times. She's even trying to get my dad to watch it. She's telling him that they could just not pay attention to the tent scenes.  ;D One more purchase that doesn't have to stay in my "incriminating evidence bag."

yay guys, i'm so excited for april 4th! i ordered mine from Wolfe as well but I'm probably gonna go out and buy a in-store copy since i have like no patience to wait for it to arrive in the mail. hehe. :)

I'm also eager to get the DVD.  In fact, I ordered the widescreen edition from Wolfe and the full screen edition from Amazon.  The Wolfe DVD is coming through regular shipping and the Amazon one is two-day.  I wonder which will get here first?
