You must admit though that there was purpose in all the tension -- because this very tension in the music led beautifully into the music that accompanied the SNIT.

I admit it! :) And I liked the music in SNIT!  ::)

I loved the transition so much -- as you you see the storm clouds disperse and see the full moon.

I payed no attention to the clouds, but now when you say it, it is more than obvious! Although I would love to see a little bit more of their time before SNIT. The tention... ::)

OK, I admit, if BbM shows everything I want to see, it'll last for 3-4 hours.. or more...  ;)

I believe that because of so many interrupted scenes, this movie not only leaves an open space for each one of us to contemplate about, but if one really wants to understand the movie, it is necessary to watch it at least 2-3 times.

They didn't show any clouds or the moon in the scene.  I was speaking metaphorically.  :)

And I truly believe that the more they didn't show or say explicitly (especially in the transition scenes), the more we are enthralled and hooked.

It's a way to let our imagination fly,no?-and I'm not speaking about sex scenes only... %( -.To let us have our own interpretation of the reasons, feelings, reactions, etc.
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

No wonder that I noticed no clouds!  ;D because there were none.

I know that you're right. If they showed too much, the effect wouldn't probably be as strong as now. It is just my wish to see a little more of them together... <^(

Yes, a lot of things depends of us, our imagination and feelings. Well, I can say for myself, that I let my imagination fly over the sky! ;D And I ever wrote it down ....  ;)

Yes, and we see how important the said scenes where in bridging our thoughts and feelings from FNIT to SNIT.  The silences allow us to reconcile ourselves to the transition, so that in the end, our imagination extrapolates beyond the sex and into the world of feeling.
