The real confirmation with which I could fully agree is seeing that scene with my eyes 8)

With this film, I thank God many times over that we do not see certain things -- for reasons that they will be too painful to contemplate out in the open.  This scene in question is most certainly close to the top...

If really true, seeing Ennis collapsing, breaking down and crying loudly
must be devastating for us brokies, for us BBM lovers, such sensitive people :'(

Mars, we are torn, I think.  We cannot contemplate all this, but we would LOVE to see it nonetheless!

We do not turn our backs on anything that is BBM, becuase we love it too much -- even if it kills us.

To see such scenes played out: what a way to die...  What an exquisite way to die...

[ OOT: Mars, I am off to a dinner party hosted by a friend who leaves for Rome to teach for a few weeks.  (He's a Latinist and classics professor).  I should get him to meet you and frances.  :)  ]

I can see why some people might have reservations about seeing it, and I agree that it doesn't detract in the slightest way from the finished version of the film, but I would like to see it just to see how it compares to how I imagine it (it couldn't be any worse than the image I have in my head of Ennis breaking down in tears :'( )

It is just a few seconds following what is isn the final clip, he leans on the wall and you see him crying...I noticed it on the ISA.... have anyone found a clip?

I'm greedy, too.  If this exists, I would love to see it.  I don't think I could get any more emotionally attached to this movie than I already am, but this may send me over the edge.  I was surprised Ennis held it together as much as he did, but then again the scene cut out quickly.  I bet he bawled like a baby over Jack every day.  Okay, I need to go get a tissue . . .  :'(

i have a Canadian ( I think) channel called Star ( at the movies?) kinda like E!

They showed the ISA in re-run one night and I was just having it on in the background and looked everytime thay mentioned Brokeback...I don't remember when they showed the clip but it was there... I saw it...think I even mentioned it to Froggy on msn when I saw it..but I didn't tape it :(

I "liked" it actually.... it was very short but seemed very natural...and remember that it was in a collective clip so probably not the proper music... but thinking of it makes me feel it was right

It took me two months to get my life together after seeing the movie the first time. I can't imagine seeing a fresh scene for the first time. Someone better come hold my hand, cuz' the Cowboy is gonna be a mess again.
