kasthy, I like your theory.

Would you think Hal in Proof would be precisely at the same balance point, or does Hal tip slightly over to the man?

Would you post a pic of him as Hal?  I have to admit I didn't see Proof (except, I think, some shots of bedroom scenes with Gwynyth, do I have that right?).  All the latest pictures are just showing up with the little X in the corner for me tonight, so if you did post a pic of Hal, I haven't seen it tonight.

Thanks -- I'd love to study Hal and see where he falls on the Boy-to-Man scale.  :*(

<OT> Yet needed.

Dearest Kathy, the same matter happened ages ago, and we all agreed that this term was indeed offending. I don't believe any of the new members saw that since it was quite a few dozens of pages ago.
In the UK we call those tops: tank tops...but undershirt is fine as well.

Froggy.

and ps thank you for spotting it, I would have missed it since I was only going to look at the pix..

And back to Mr G.....the black and white pix are fantastic!!!!!

Thank you, Froggy, for responding.  As I said in my later post, I apologize for having missed this yesterday.   You are right in that the newer members did not get a chance to see the old discussion about this term.  So it is good that kathy brought this up.

Thank you both.  It's a little tricky, "censoring," as all you mods know, and whoever (Ethan?) decided on the "rules" for this forum in the first place.  I wouldn't agree with censoring where not necessary (but who decides "necessary"?) but I think this example, no one can argue with?  And I've said it before, but I agree with all the rules here, even though I have to go elsewhere to talk hot overt sex :)

But anyway, thanks for your support in this matter.  I don't want to just be a nag.  :i

No problen, Thomas :)

Little more Jake... ;)

I love, love when Jake's hair is long and wild, but then I see a picture like this, with it a bit shorter, and I go nuts -- I think he's incredibly even more handsome like this.  Something about a closer definition of his head shape or something...conoisseur of Jakeness that I am.

I think that this pic is very beautiful in B/W. :)

I'll say!  Even  more definition in the wet shirt, his chest, chest hair.  Yum.

The eyes shout at you in B&W.

Tom, you'd mentioned the dark shadows under his eyes, illusion or reality...well here and in a lot of these pictures (probably even more so in B/W huh?) we are seeing those dark shadows.  Whatever it is, it's beautiful and sexy.

I'll give it one more try. I know that this isn't the right sepia either

I like this one the best, the closest to sepia.  I think my Photoshop doesn't really have a perfect sepia, either.  (Nor does my camera -- I'm jealous :)

Anyway, I love the little tiny pinky ring.  And just the cute flirty pose.

Classic pic from the Premiere of Kinsey:

Another of my thesis entries.  This is gorgeous, gorgeous...but still is just short of the small manly evolutions to soon change his face...

Aha -- I think I"ve got it.  I think it might be lines around the eyes that transform the boy to the man.  Well, that's one thing -- there are more subtle things at play, of course, the inner boy hottie or the inner handsome man...

What?  This is Jake?  Hardly even recognize him...except for the band of his undies showing.  Gorgeous and hot.

Is this pic reversed?

I dunno, I think so, but the more I think about it the more I like this Jake, I know he's supposed to be 17 but he is sexier in DAT than many of his other films, yes even as Jack T.

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.
