I love the twist of his torso in this.  Always like his poses.  Nice shirt, too, probably a sleeveless/tank.

Didn't I read that he is "double-jointed," which means he can do all sorts of weird things?  Hmmm...

kathy

I so love your comment on the torso.  You are an aesthete.  :)

This one is still one of my faves. There's just something about it- simple yet so stunning. <^(

Like Thomas said, eyes rule all.. Can't get enough of his eyes.. Well i don't want to ;D

I am dizzy with all these wonderful pix.  His eyes invite you to pause and contemplate...  :)

Just saw this one. I don't recall seeing it before (could be the brain is on Jake overload- not that I'm complaining mind you ;)).  :d)

Jakelick ;) I love the white shirt showing little. <^(

Those hands in the background make for a surreal backdrop.  ;)

Also a Jakelick, no?

From the same series as the above, no?  And yet again, the look is a tad different...

Our handsome Jake :-*

And yet again, a slightly different look and expression.  :)

Is he better with short or long hair? He does not wear his hair too long.  I think Holden in "The Good Girl" sports long hair as far as Jake characters go...

I do like Patrick Swayze too  :) But Jake, nothing can compare to him <^(

He was great in Donnie Darko, though.  :)  Creepy is the word.

I like his hair any way.  A skinhead look is very nice on him too. He has the face shape, forhead and hairline that can really carry any style. It looks very nice in this pic, but it looks nice in all his pics. Short, long, combed, gelled, or roughed up.  Sigh.. <^(

I do think his dark hair matches his complexion.  But you are right, no matter what style, the face shape, forhead and hairline carry the day.

I've no idea if this is true, but wouldn't it be GREAT .....To see Jake on bill boards as I'm driving along or sitting on a train would be terrific! :)

Oh I do hope that's true....and that it's worldwide if it is. It would give me immense pleasure to walk past the Calvin Klein shop here in Edinburgh and not have to turn away.

The current model here is Ars enal footballer Freddie Ljungberg who two of my friends lust after (and I pretty much think is repulsive)....it really would make a nice change for me to be the one wanting to walk past that shop ;D
He will be eternally missed, but he will never be forgotten

Christopher Nolan, accepting the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe on Heath's behalf.

Charles Roven, accepting Heath's BAFTA.

This award tonight would have humbly validated Heath's quiet determination to be truly accepted by you all here — his peers within an industry he so loved.

Kim Ledger, accepting Heath's Oscar.

I really like Susan Sarandon. :)
The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.
