Ain't this from TDAT? Beautiful Jake... <^(

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Yes.  Sam is so fragile in his love.  Tell her how you feel...

I am sure kathy will love the hair...  :)

Too funny!  I refrained from saying that...and then I scroll down and you've said it for me!

I'm off work today (mental health day) and just set up my new monitor...and actually I'm not certain.  It's widescreen, and I think pics are distorted.  And it doesn't seem to have an adjustment to squeeze it in, as other monitors do.

OT, I know -- we need a computer/electronics-tech thread for stuff like this.

Anyway, I'm back on page 238, and you're all up to page 251, so I'm just scrolling through and doing some saving, and try not to Reply too much -- right.

Good night :ghug:

Goodnight Twisted, and thank you for the pix :)  This one is just utterly gorgeous, not just the usual eyes/hair/lips/fuzz combination, but the look on his face, sort of...Ahdunno...wistful ??? Whatever, he's so beautiful...sigh... <^( And he looks really good in black, too :d) <^( :d) <^(

I just LOVE that "wistful" look on him.

No use hurrying up.  Take your time.

Well, I liked the hair also in this pic!  :)

I like seeing these un-posed pictures.

Okay, the finer points of Jake.  Check out the thigh there.  I noticed this in him as Jack, that he has these great thighs, that fill up the jeans.  (Heath/Ennis doesn't.)  And you can see it here.  No skinny legs here -- those thighs are working.

The two most handsome men...  I'm sure Jake will grow up to be even more handsome than George.

My friend Robert said exactly the same thing about Jack Twist's thighs.  There is a pic with Jake as Jack Twist standing right next to Ang Lee, and the definition of his thighs in that pic is superb...

Hmm.  Maybe Jake and Stephen have the same mouth, same eyes, same eyebrows, same hairline (except S's receding a bit), but not the same nose and not same shape of face.  Both nice in jeans, too...
