The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

My friend Robert never liked him with fuzz.  I shall acquiesce for once.

Thank you for the pix, Twisted.

Good night, friends.  This is such a caring place.  I am glad to be here.

Twisted -- gorgeous pictures today, all of them.  I love this one the most -- maybe the soft lighting...

So serious . . .

This is a cool pic. Serious?  Or just playing at being serious?

Black is a great colour on Jake.  <^(

Excuse me, what color isn't great on him?

I so love this pic with Atticus.

The man and his dog -- definitely it makes us love him even more.

Yes, I do think it is his complexion -- it shimmers against a backdrop of primary colours.  I also think his complexion is what makes him dazzling in a white shirt and black suit.

I agree.  Also what makes him stunning in those bronzy-toned pictures I love so much.

kathy

Oh definitely.  He is so not artificially bronzed.  His skin tone is enviable, and such an enhancement to his looks.  Or, like the canvas of his looks.

kathy

Bronzed bodies are beautiful.  And I do not mean the artificial ones.  His skin tone looks so natural and even.  It is like the blush of golden fruit.

I am getting dizzy again with all these beautiful Jake pix.  The black and the white over the body electric...  Then fabric shimmers and the flesh shines.

He is dizzying, yes.  And this is one fine suit, to show him off.  I wonder if this is so-called "sharkskin," the fabric.  He sure has perfect taste in clothes,  no matter a striped t-shirt or a fine suit.

He looks slightly out of it.  :)  The lack of focus in the eyes.  The ruffled hair.  For a hand to ruffle his hair...

Yes, the eyes.  Tipsy, stoned or tired?

I admire the eyes and the facial hair in this pic most especially.

I'm sorry, my friend, but you always admire the eyes and facial hair!

Classy, sophisticated.  Little of the hint of adorable goofiness we know he has, nor sultry sex god.
