This pic is like a fine Japanese snow print.  The snowflakes have a wondefrul decorative effect.  The flake just above the upper lip is like a white beauty spot.

His eyes shines so bright..
Yes, and this one in particular is special IMO...the expression on his face..the white of the snow and his shirt against the black of his suit...the blue of his eyes..

Were I but snow, to fall between both lips...  :)

Me too. <^( And I concur- he is a God in a black shirt (He's a God in any shirt but....)

I love the white seam running down his pants...

Thomas, for your friend Robert.  His eyes seem to see beyond the realm of the physical...

kathy

Thanks kathy.  I can't see the pic right now at the office, but I will be sure to look at it after work.

His eyes are like windows to Heaven.  They seem to make you believe in a God.

Beautiful with these blues and the camel color suit -- yet another perfect coloring for him.  He seems to be perfect in just about all colors, it seems to me.  Seriously -- he must have some (quite enviable) coloring that works with everything.  And as you said about the purple, tpe, making him look more dark and myserious, what he wears transforms his persona.

kathy

I must get to see Hanna's pix also.   His complexion seems to go well with a multitude of colors.  And the complexion itself is a rich dark tint.

Something about this pic makes him look so interesting...

Yes -- he is nothing if not interesting.

kathy

He looks like some young Beat poet...

The pose is ever so subtly erotic -- almost akin to the classic odalisque pose, except that Jake is NOT an odalisque.

I had to look up odalisque -- "female slave in a harem."  No, not an odalisque, but an odalisque pose.  He does the subtly erotic so very well...

kathy

Matisse and Delacroix did wonderul pictures of odalisques.  How unfortunate that they did not have Jake to model for them in this current pose.

Treasure trail.  :)

Treasure trail -- that's even better.

kathy

Is this a purely gay term?

This is such a beautiful pic.  It is not a totally elegant look -- which is probably why it captivates...

Yes -- the "elegant" has a bit too much perfection, and perhaps is too static.  More dynamic in a moment like this.  Or, as you said before, the end of the night pictures, such as the stud series, aka tie undone series.  Potential for something happening, once the elegant facade starts to loosen.

kathy

He exudes a beautiful eroticism when he is in subtle stages of undress.  Such pix seem to exude heat and motion...

Very true.  And it's an interesting subject, hair.  The asethetics of it, besides the history of its associations in cultures.  (And again, maybe I have a prejudice, because of a couple decades ago, men who shaved their heads, skinheads, were the neo-nazis, white supremecists, etc.  Aside from military, I mean -- and being the silly hippie that I was, I had no great appreciation for military men, either.)  However, I've grown away from those early prejudices.  It gets easier and easier, if we are aging right, to see past all that stuff to the essential...

kathy

When naked, his lack of head hair would only accentuate his architectonic beauty.

Agreed -- he's "prettier" than she is.  Besides, his is natural, hers is makeup.  And she's just skin and bones.

kathy

Kathy, your a woman, of course your going to say he's prettier.  :P

Jake being natural....idk, i think, in attitude, he seems fake and thats why i prefer Heath, now he's natural ;D

I am not a woman, of course, and I think kathy is right -- she is too skinny and the face is too bony and artificial.  The look has a place in the pantheon of beauty, but not particularly my type of feminine beauty.

Jake beats her hands down.

I find your comment about Jake being fake quite interesting.  I certainly don't share it.

Jake's not so much prettier as more intelligent. his face is expressive; hers is empty. she's just a clothes-horse; he's not, IMO.

you are biased, but thats just my opinion ;)

Who isn't? ;)

The dead, perhaps...

This black and white is terrific.  It clearly shows all the planes and angles of his chiseled features.  This is a pic to salivate over.  Being an artist and into portraits, this is the one I would paint if I owned the photo.  Wow!

I should pay close attention to your comments then.  :)
