The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Why rubbing his ears?  A nervous tick?

Is this a common gesture that he does when he is nervous?

They are talking about the kiss and Heath makes a joke and Jake says something: I don't know what that is: And laughs.. I don't know if he is nervous.. :)

I do think he was nervous, in his boyish sort of way.  Heath may look nervous when he fidgets, but I think Heath is nervous when he grimaces or freezes.

I can't choose between the two.  He is perfect in this pose.

Thanks, Twisted.

I find the Oprah pix quite beautiful.  Incidentally, they did not announce beforehand the day when they taped this in Chicago, but I suspected that I was at the auctioneers next to Harpo Studios when they were doing it.  I only learned later when a friend from the 4 Seasons in Chicago said that he spotted Jake that night.  :)

Wow, that's cool. Sorry that you missed him. :( But you live in the states, there's a small change that you meet him one day.. I will never see him, except if he comes to Finland :)

My heart aches... So beautiful.. <^( <^(

He hardly ever comes to Chicago.  Recently?  Perhaps the Oprah taping, and maybe filming one or two scenes in the Rockefeller Chapel at the University of Chicago (for "Proof", which was filmed largely in London).  Never enough... :)
