More and more Ennis's girls are visiting here, they almost switch sides ;) :*(

But what can I say, he is a looker <^(

He is to die for!
The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

I love all the family photos, but this is wonderful! I love this one quite much <^(

And yes, it's got something to do with His profile showing ::) :)

Love the whole family series. Brother and sister clearly love each other. Very sweet. :)

This is darling -- wonder what he was saying, doing.  (I often notice that double-jointedness in his hands -- just slight, but you can see he has some extra movement in his fingers, etc.  Hmmm...useful trait.)

He is so beautiful in that pic by Twisted.  I do love him best in the more candid shots.

Of the new crop of pix, I love this one the best:

Oh, I love this the best, too.  I love seeing him quietly within himself...

Can anyone be good enough for him?  (Rhetorical question!)

Good question, rhetorical or not.  I do wonder...  It will be interesting when next we see him looking "serious" about someone.  I would say it should be someone like his sister.  If female.  If male...well, not even speculating about that.

Saint Jake (see the halo?) and the Prophet Jonah...  :)  I can see Jake painted on the Sisteine Chapel...

Yes, St. Jake and the halo...and I enjoy these comparisons!

Also, love him in karate pants (and nothing else).

The Jarhead look was so different that a lot of my friends who love him did not appreciate this look at all.  It is a different persona.  For me, it's the same Jake Gyllenhaal.  ;)

I thought guys would like his buzzed-off hair, since so many guys do this.  So, you don't identify him at all by his hair.  I guess his hair is more a part of him, for me than for you.  In some pics of him without hair, though, as I've commented on, I totally see the Jake I know.  But mostly not.  But you do.  You are always looking at his eyes first, I think.

Good morning, Twisted.  I can't see this pix as is.  But it appears when I enter the URL directly into the browser address space!  The wonders of the local computer cache!  Thank you!  :)

But doesn't it take you out of ennisjack.com when you do that?  Or do you have a separate browser window open and you copy and paste it into there?

Love him on ANY sofa!

This one especially unique.  I mean, all baroque and such, and his classic simplicity looks so elegant against all that fru-fru.  He looks good on ultra-modern, on baroque, on rustic, on Ikea, on anything.
