Chest hair study???!!  :8  Is that some sort of official project? If so, where do I sign up? I suppose I'll have to do some research and report back with my findings , it'll be a tough job, but someone's gotta do it ::)  ;D

Yes, it's funny that you didn't notice the chest hair in the movie, whereas I was just drawn to it  <^( Like you say, different strokes and all that ;)  I think you're going to have to force yourself to watch SNIT over and over until you can see it clearly ;) I'm going to watch it again to see if I work out how you missed it!  ::) ;D

LOL!  :*(  Okay, I'll study it with your eyes, you study it with mine.

I believe this pic is reversed.  I can tell by his eyes, his eyebrows.  Also the slant of his hair.  And if we could see through his moustache, I bet his mole would be on his right side, not his left, where it is.

This is so beautiful.  It looks so natural, candid, not posed, and in lovely natural light.  He just looks like such a lovely person you'd want as a friend.  Besides whatever else one might want from him.

He is also endearing when he laughs:

Thank you for this!!  This is my new favorite animation.  Never saw it before.  Yes, Jake is always, always totally delightful when he laughs.  He has such a natural, sensual laugh.  Sensual in the sense that he doesn't hold back.

I loved reading this, especially about his shaved head.  So, the buzzed-off hair makes men feel badass, is that it?  Finally got one explanation, at least, for why they might like to do this.  Besides just being able to not bother with hair.  And I like how Jake said it also takes away any sense of vanity.  Interesting.

Agreed.  I don't exactly have the words to describe this kind of look that he has, but it's...THUD.  (And Thomas isn't here to help me find the words :)

kathy

His look is a true mirror of the Divine.  To look on that face is to see God.

This is so true -- cute kid, boy hottie, handsome man.  But someone said, I forget who, that prior to BBM she knew JG only as nerdy boy character and could not imagine him as an attractive gay cowboy with Heath Ledger.  Funny.  I've said before, I like that I hadn't seen either of them before, so my vision of Ennis and Jack was pure of any preconceived notions.

There's a nice profile for Thomas; and I think his hair is quite nice like this.

kathy

Thank you.  I do love his profile in that pic.

If his profile were minted on a silver drachma, what would you say to Him when He says "Render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's, and render unto God what is God's"?

You know what I would do: I would render his profile unto God.

That's very interesting, and too bad for Jake.  I guess they can't help that, not the producers or film company, nor the distributors -- too many variables in getting a movie out.

I still do intend to get all JG movies, and HL movies too.  (I live fairly budgeted on purpose -- DVD's are not like in my weekly budget, but an indulgence.  I'm close to getting out of some decades of credit card debt -- that's where my money goes, and trying to do something toward my future, beginning at this late date!  My hippiedom didn't teach me anything about thinking about my financial future.  Anyway, I got a nice Christmas bonus at work...and I always think:  be practical? or indulge?  A bit of both I think...and all of JG DVD's is definitely on my list of indulgences.  And I apologize for being off topic...

kathy

OT: kathy, I will PM you about something.

What is he pointing to???

I really love this pic, even though it's not one of the more obvious gorgeous Love God ones that I love to drool over. I love the fact that even with the rolling eyes and the bitten fingernails, he still looks like a gorgeous Love God. It shows that he's human, but he's also divine <^( <^( <^(
