Talkshow Skit

I loved this skit, because those crazy Bronx ladies reminded me of some of us gals, like:  Okay, Jake, yes, very nice about your book...but oh god look at him is he not the most adorable thing you've ever seen??

I'm right there with you  ^-^ I love the spot on his shirt during the L & O skit- if I were lucky enough that would be my drool- but one can dream  ;D

See what I mean, about "some of us gals"?  I mean, yes, he is a world-class actor...but look at that sweat on his t-shirt, will ya?!

Generally, I don't care for the writing on SNL anymore, but this was very tastefully done & Jake was in it a lot.  The Dreamgirl scene was great.  I just saw that movie last week, so it was fresh in my mind.  They had to get in a little mention of Brokeback, & I thought this was perfect.  BTW - he looked better in that dress than in the t-shirts - you could see more.  The boy is built! (^)

I taped the show, but thanks to everyone for posting the clips & pix!

What she said.  Thanks to everyone for the caps and links.  I watched it and recorded it (VHS) but don'th ave a DVD recorder with TV yet.  So I love having these on computer.  Thank you, thank you.

However, I expected the cowboys to say "I ain't queer" and "Me, neither."  But "regular cowboys" is pretty amusing too.

He looked awesome in that dress!  Sounds funny saying that but can't help it!  I didn't realize he was so muscular anymore.  He looked like he did in Jarhead!

Well  now we know wht he's been doing in his spare time.

He was just so sexy in that dress.

It was funny, because when he first came out in a suit, I thought, hmm...odd, why didn't he wear jeans?  So I was glad the suit was to be stripped off!

Where is Kathy, btw, I miss her!!

I've been like 50 pages behind you, that's where I've been!  I swear, one cannot miss one day of Jake Pix without falling woefully behind.  And another day, and another...  Now, I'm perfectly happy with 50 pages of Jake Pix to peruse...but I miss a more current chat with y'all about the pix.

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

No argument from me!

So now I'm obsessed with his hair, moles, lips, tongue, nose, facial hair, eyes, eyelashes, ears, shape of his head, neck, neck veins, shoulders, chest, chest hair, arms, wrists, arm veins, hands, long fingers, butt, thighs, & his long legs.  I've haven't gotten a good look at his feet yet but they are probably perfect too.
