I loved when he kind of says, "Well I thought I made it clear, last time I was there...I brought you flowers...took off my shirt..." I died during that part of the call. Plus he kind of sounds a little sleepy. Shivers down my spine. And just to keep this on topic:

Hmm, as I recall, he didn't actually take his shirt off, just showed a bit of his shoulder (the tease! ;) ). Ellen should have told him he should go on her show again and take off his shirt properly next time ;) :d)
There was some open space between what he knew and what he tried to believe, but nothing could be done about it, and if you can't fix it you've got to stand it.

Thanks! I was going to watch the Ellen interview again just to make sure, but now I don't need to...oh what the hell, I think I'll force myself to watch it anyway ;)

His shoulder and chest look a bit red there, like he's sunburnt or something :s) It's probably just the lighting or something, I can't imagine he'd be short of volunteers to rub suncream into him :d)

You're welcome, CrimsonSky!

I thought the red was partly because he was a bit bashful.  :)

LJN: Those pics, Ah so gorgeous!! THANK YOU!!!

I'll put this again, so Thomas can see it too

The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Oh god - he's just gorgeous <^( <^( <^(

Thanks for these wonderful screen caps, LJN :^^) Now, I want to see the interview...
He will be eternally missed, but he will never be forgotten

Christopher Nolan, accepting the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe on Heath's behalf.

He was, as an actor and a professional and a human being, one of a kind

Charles Roven, accepting Heath's BAFTA.

This award tonight would have humbly validated Heath's quiet determination to be truly accepted by you all here — his peers within an industry he so loved.

Kim Ledger, accepting Heath's Oscar.
