They are quite beautiful, Rosie.  I don't know if I've seen these before.  I am quite disorganized with my Jake pix, you know.  ;)

Without the distraction of his lovely hair, his blue eyes and pink lips really stand out in this one.  Most beautiful.

I'd love a thread to chat tech-stuff, insofar as image management and such.  Thomas, you say your Jake pix aren't organized.  Mine either.  In fact, early on I made only one folder, heath-jake, and so of course there are thousands of pix in there now, and I've never wanted to take the time to divide them, separate for Heath and for Jake, and one for them together, etc.  My BBM pix are organized, meaning I've named them as I've saved them (which I do not do with Heath and Jake pix, just leave them the names they are).  So I have jack 01 through jack 54 or whatever, same for ennis, plus some pix are named by scene -- reunion, leaving early, FNIT, SNIT, etc.  But I could never go through my Jake and Heath pix and find one from some certain appearance.  I do have a good "picture explorer" to go through them quickly, but there are just too many.  At least, as of two weekends ago, I have them all copied onto my portable hard drive.  I do that every once in a while.

This IS beautiful.  The one with the ivy in the background is also wonderful!

I love every inch of him, unconditionally, mind and body, as everyone knows...but I sure do really love his hair in this one!!  His hair is such a fascinating expression of his spirit.  Kind of like his hands.

It looks like a Baroque painting of a saint in ecstasy!  There is a wonderful quality to his upraised yes, you know?  It gives a sense of drama, and your gaze inadvertently follows his!

Damn -- I wish I knew exactly which pic you are referring to here.  Another incredibly observation, the sense of drama -- so true, isn't it, that he exudes dramatic interest, in his stillness as well as in his movement.  And that we follow his gaze.  Fascinating.

I am totally speechless when it comes to this pic.  What can one say that would do it justice?

Just that he is art, that he is a gift of the universe -- the elements of life coming together in perfection and expressing with delight.

Sometimes I notice in these Maggie/Jake pics how she's usually reflecting the style of the time and Jake kind of stays classically beautiful. Not to say Maggie isn't, I love her style, I just love how Jake always seems fresh and new yet classic and ageless.

I know exactly what you mean, smiles.  Except this factor of her being more trendy and him being more classy, mostly has to do with dumb women's clothes.  It's easy for men to look classic and elegant -- their clothes are made for that.  But women are kind of required to wear odd things on the red carpet.  If she wore a black suit, she'd look very hot, in my opinion, and classic and elegant -- but women just don't wear those kinds of things.  Always got to be showing skin and such.  Argh.  (Sometimes I think argh -- ridiculous women's fashion; but I'm not always a hardcore feminist spoilsport -- I can get into the fun of it as well as the next gal.)
