Thomas, I’m gonna go out to have dinner now, but I’ve cooked something for your dinner too.....Remember that I told you that I was tired of the little birdie, huh?

Little birdie alla FMR

Ingredients

•1 whole boneless, skinless little birdie
•1 extra-large turron
•2 yemas
•1/3 cup syrup
•1/2 cup white cream
•Sliced bananas

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Place the little birdie between 2 sheets of parchment paper or plastic wrap and pound out to 1/4-inch thick.

Heat and melt the large turron over medium to medium-low heat. Add the birdie and cook for 2 minutes on each side, until browned. Place it on the sheet pan and allow it to bake for 5 to 10 minutes while you make the sauce.

For the sauce, wipe out the saute pan with a dry paper towel. Over medium heat, melt 2 yemas, then let it to cool down and add the syrup, cream and the sliced bananas.

Serve the little birdie very HOT on a plate, add the sauce and eat it on a couch or on an armchair. It's ideal for confession meetings.

Here you have your dinner.  ^f^

Yes! I think that you have 100 times more Jake and Jack stuff in your home! (t)
The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.
