There's a great paradox in BBM sex-scenes. They are undoubtedly perfect. Because of that  - we want more of those sex scenes, we need more of that perfection... BUT... if there was more, would it be perfect?  :-\\ :-\\ :-\\

Yet, I'd take that risk!  :P

True, but SNIT should have been just a little longer and I would have loved to see a scene from when they were at Don Wroe's cabin. I think it would have added to the movie. It wouldn't be long, just less than a minute for SNIT, and just maybe two or three minutes at Don Wroe's cabin. Also, the scene where they jump in the river. I would have loved for it to show them laughing and splashing each other in the water, that would be so cute. It would be beautiful to see more Ennis and Jack together, and not just sex/love scenes but also them just spending time together, those tender loving times when they either talked together or shared an amusing moment, or just felt comfort in being so close to each other. I really love that scene from one of their trips when they were riding horses side by side.

Although more of the tender/casual loving moments might defer from the impact of the black hole of an ending to the movie, I would so very much love to see them, lengthened, and a little more detailed. Don Roe's cabin would have been really nice. It's hard to not feel cheated by being given so few scenes like this. When it comes to SNIT, I personally could watch for hours straight. That plucks more of my heart strings than just about any scene I've seen in any movie.  <^(

Loreen, me too. My heart felt like it was in the pocket of my shirt (if I had a shirt with a pocket) just about ready to flop out like a fish onto the pavement! It put me back into a situation I had very similar with someone. The whole outside world could have fallen completely away from the screen when I watched. It also stirred up leftover passion I would have loved to be demonstrating just how that scene was, right then and there.  (t)

The funny thing is that I never had such a crazy and passionate experience, but SNIT hit me so powerful that I couldn't believe it! I also felt some parts in myself that I never knew existed before... not necessarily the organs... maybe some fine tissues, or nerve endings or some strange fluids in me...  :i :i :i

Ang Lee and the boys performed a true miracle there!  (:* (:* (:*

This is true not only in BBM sex-scenes,but in everything we love; we want more of them because of their beauty,because in their short length they have made us feel a great deal of sensations.I had said that this is ART in capital letters,and doubtless BBM is ARTand its scenes like SNIT are kind of culmination of this ART.But,perfect or not,of course,we'd take the risk of being overwhelmed for minutes and minutes more of this scene ¡  :P :d)

Very good point!  As for myself, I don't know...  I would certainly WANT some more, but am not so sure if more would lead to indigestion!  :)

Yes,maybe this is also another of the reasons why we feel more attached to them...even if I repeat I'd erase the "No more..." from my dictionary in this case¡  #)

The sex scenes between Alma and Ennis were much more explicit but well, no where  near as  provocative as the goings on  between Jack and Ennis.  I imagine sex got much more spicier for them  as the years went on :d). It's gotta be that black cowboy hat... I can see Jack wearing that...only that....  Jack Nasty? Jack Naughty, maybe so.  So what? Just sayin ,Jack seems like the kind of guy who'd make sex fun.  :d:

I think in most cases, imagination is less restricted than any form of actual physical representation...

OMG.  The image of just the black cowboy hat is most intriguing. 

And yes, I sort of envision Jack as less inhibited than Ennis.  He would have probably led the way in the games of love.
