Although scenes like the SNIT, the Reunion Kiss, and the (sexless) Dozy Embrace feel way too short, there is a timeless quality to them -- something that touches us and brands/imprints itself deeply into our psyche. That is the mark of great Art, IMO.
True, but SNIT should have been just a little longer and I would have loved to see a scene from when they were at Don Wroe's cabin. I think it would have added to the movie. It wouldn't be long, just less than a minute for SNIT, and just maybe two or three minutes at Don Wroe's cabin. Also, the scene where they jump in the river. I would have loved for it to show them laughing and splashing each other in the water, that would be so cute. It would be beautiful to see more Ennis and Jack together, and not just sex/love scenes but also them just spending time together, those tender loving times when they either talked together or shared an amusing moment, or just felt comfort in being so close to each other. I really love that scene from one of their trips when they were riding horses side by side.
